-Chapter may be triggering-
Isn't it a shame that I have to end like this with no love for humanity. Two months ago I might have, that is before Dallas died. I almost died. But I didn't, but I know I am going to die now. I walk over to my radio and turn it on. It is in the middle of the song True Friends by Bring Me The Horizon. How fitting.
When I confessed to Katie how I was feeling depressed and suicidal she went around and told her popular friends. Now I have their hate notes that say 'Go kill yourself' 'Go drink some bleach' and stuff like that piled in my locker and as well messages on my phone.
Killing you by Asking Alexandria came on. I quietly walked to my Aunt's bathroom, and opened the medicine cabinet. I looked and found the strongest sleeping pills she had. With the almost full bottle in hand I walked quietly back to my room.I wrote my suicide note and placed it on my bed. It read
Thank you Aunt Julie and Uncle John for taking care of through all of these years. I don't know where I would be without you. I love you. I will miss you. I love you so much.
-RubyI looked at the clock one last time at 11:17 P.M. I grabbed the water bottle on my night stand. As I got ready to start taking pills Broken Generation by Of Mice & Men came on. I took the pills two at a time and had all of them gone by the time the song was done. Almost Easy by Avenged Sevenfold came on.
I layed my head down on my pillows and closed my eyes for the last time. I listened to the last few lyrics as I fell into what I thought was going to be eternal sleep. Oh how I was wrong. I was not prepared for what came next.
***********
A huge gaping hole lay right next to a gleaming staircase. The intricate railings carved out of what looked like gold. The stairs seemed to be made of the clearest glass I have ever seen. I took a few steps forward to touch the railing. I began to ascend the stairs. They curved over the massive hole that appeared to be endless. When I was directly over the middle the whole staircase began to shake violently.
I went to go turn just as the stair below me broke in half. One hand caught on the bottom of the railing. I struggled to find a grip I could hold and my hand slipped from the once perfect railing. I descended into the black pit unwilling screaming as I fell.
I am going to die.
Wait.
I AM dead.
Focus.
Stop falling.
Stop falling.
STOP FALLING. At the last scream (you can scream in you mind right?) I stopped falling. How did I do that!?
I turned my head to glance over my shoulder to look below me. I saw the ground one foot from my face.
Any second later and I would have been dead twice. I dropped to the ground on my back. It was light down here. I got up and looked around. There were five tunnels branching off. All of them looked the same. Dark with lanterns hung every few yards. I could hear voices coming from one though. I walked for that tunnel.
