As I got closer to the voices, I started to understand what they were saying.
"We have to be prepared for the Queens return. If we are not the king may kill us." A feminine voice said.
"I know. And we will be ready." A manly voice said.
I stopped walking. Queen? Who would want to be the queen of this place let alone rule over this place? It is damp and threatening collapse at the slightest touch.
"I think I hear something in the tunnel. I am going to go check it out." The man said. I heard footsteps coming towards me.
I gasped. Holy crap. They know I am here. I have to get out of here. I spun around quickly and ran the fastest I have ever ran. I got to the opening, looking for a tunnel in which people weren't coming down. I was out of luck. People were coming down each tunnel and halted at the sight of me.
The guards all bowed at the sight of me and out of one tunnel they moved out of the way to show a younger looking man. I know that face... He had black hair long enough to cover almost his whole forehead. His eyes were a beautiful bright blue. He had on black clothes with silver streaks going through the cloth. The clothes of a king. He was the king. He moved towards me. He was only inches from my face, even though he was about a foot taller than me. He moved his face even closer and his lips touched mine. He ran his long fingers through my long red hair.
Dallas.
This is Dallas.
He broke off the kiss and he looked at me for a moment before saying "My queen. You have finally returned to me,to our kingdom, but it is as if you don't remember me."
"You are Dallas. You were my boyfriend...before you d-died in a car crash." I stated.
"My name is actually Dallon. King Dallon to be precise," He paused. "and your name is Annabel. You are my beautiful queen. The only woman that I devote my whole heart and life to." He stopped talking and moved to kiss me again. I immediately melted into it. The only difference was that this one was filled with passion. After we broke the kiss again I looked at his flawless face. He had high cheekbones and a perfect mouth. He motioned behind me and said "You are excused, I have found my queen. Go back to guarding the cells."
When all of them were out of earshot I spoke "I can admit that I forgot that they were even there."
"I did to, my love." A long pause of silence came. "I was wondering if I could have the honor of walking her majesty to her royal chambers?"
"I have a room here?
"Well yes of course. You are the queen." He held out his arm as an offer to walk me. I took it and we were off walking through the tunnel I came running from.
"Am I really the queen of this place? Don't get me wrong, this is a decent place. It just doesn't feel like I am a queen. You know?"
"I do understand that feeling." He said as we entered a huge opening. The floor went from rock to beautiful white marble. The ceiling appeared to be made of varying shades of silver. In the center of the ceiling was a chandelier made of glass. At the end of the room sat two thrones. "I have never really gotten used to the sight either."
"This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen."
"Second most for me."
"Compared to what?"
"You." He glanced over at me, and I felt my face turn bright red.
We moved behind the right throne that lead to an archway. From the archway I could spiraling stone stairs. Dallon started the descent still holding my arm. He had a certain swiftness that only a person with a lot of confidence could achieve. On the last step we reached a closed door. He opened the door with his free hand. So this is a queens bedroom.
There were red satin drapes obscuring the bed. There was a door that probably lead to the closet. I let go of Dallon's arm and moved to the door. I took the handle and swung the door open. The lanterns were already glowing with a soft light. I looked at the neatly ordered clothes, ordered by color. The closet is as big as the bedroom. On one and a half walls hung beautiful dresses ranging from long red to short blue. The other wall contained shoes, pants, skirts, and shirts. I looked at Dallon who motioned I go look with further inspection. At the other side of the room a woman stood.
"Hello ma'am. Welcome back. I missed you so much." When she spoke I realised she was the feminine voice I heard.
"Thanks." I returned.
I felt a strong hand on my back. Dallon spoke in my ear. "I shall be leaving now. Dinner is at 7:00" a short pause "Would you wear that dress I love so much, please?"
"Okay. Sure, I need to get out of my Supernatural pajamas and wash up anyways."
"Fare thee well, my darling." Dallon spoke as he began to leave.
"Goodbye sir." The woman said as Dallon left the room.
"Where would I find the bathroom to clean up a bit?"
"I have everything already set. My name is Deana, if you did not remember. Follow me"
