As we slowly walked to the bathroom, which was at the other side of my room Deana talked to me.
"Ma'am if you don't mind me askin' Why did you kill yourself? I mean we are all happy you are finally back, but why would you want to leave the human realm?"
"I know this may seem a little petty, but it was because the people at my school were telling me to, so I did. Why not please somebody... who hates your guts." I said in a surprisingly sad tone.
"Well ma'am if you don't mind me saying, since you killed yourself, didn't you let them win?"
"Yeah I guess I did. I can't go back now" I said as we got closer to the door of the bathroom.
"You actually can. You can leave whenever you want. Any of us can actually. You just won't remember this place until you get back here."
"Why would you want to leave here? It is so beautiful."
"A change of scenery and people, I guess." Deana opened the bathroom door. Like everything else in here, it was beautiful. White tile floors. The bathtub two steps up from everything else. The tub was filled with water and red rose petals. "I should go, so you can wash up."
"Wait I have a question. Is there anything that can play music here? Like a radio or an IPod?"
"No, I am sorry ma'am. No electronics work here."
"Oh...okay." Deana left and closed the door behind her.
I stripped down my mud caked clothes, putting them in the clothes drop thing. I climbed into the tub and it was the perfect temperature hot, but not too hot. I washed down my body and removed all the dirt from my hands, hair and face. When I was done I got out and wrapped my body in a silky black robe. I put my hair up into a black towel and looked into the mirror. I felt my skin in which was the softest I have ever felt it. I brushed my teeth and left the bathroom.
I walked over to the closet and looked for the special dress Dallon was talking about. I felt a pull to one that was long, and had a strap on one shoulder. On the side opposite of the strap had some silver jewels.
As I pulled the dress over my head I was scared it wouldn't go with my hair, and make it appear like I wore too much red. Once I got it on I walked over to the mirror. I looked up and down over and over not believing that that was my body. It fit my few curves perfectly. Looking at my hair and eyes they were enhanced greatly. My eyes now a bright candy apple green. My hair looked like locks of fire with slight curls from being damp.
Deana walked in and said "Now, do you see why Dallon loves that dress on you?"
"Yes. What should I do with my hair?"
"I will take care of that." She grabbed onto my hand and pulled me to the back of the closet.
She pulled my hair up into a curled up do with one ringlet of hair dangling to against my face within a matter of thirty minutes. "Okay Ma'am, Dallon should be here soon to take you to the dining hall. There will be many people there because of your return." There was a small knock at the door and Deana ran to open the bedroom door.
King Dallon walked through the door in a black suit with red accents. He gave Deana a small thank you before looking over to me. He gave a small gasp then said "I forgot how much I love seeing you in that dress. You look ravishing my love." He moved over to where I was standing and lifted my left hand and kissed it. He held out his arm and I took it. We walked to the door and then we were off to the dining hall.
"Oh yes. I think I figured out why you love this dress on me so much."
Dallin jumps in front of me and says "Is that right, my love?" He leans down for a short kiss and leaned away.
I giggle and lean into his chest and burst into full out laughter. "Yes, my love" I say teasingly. I look into his sparkling blue eyes and melt all over when we lock gazes. He leans in and pulls me in simultaneously for a slow, but passionate kiss.
"We should get going to dinner my soulmate" he said with a dazed look on his gorgeous face. I am so glad to know that I am not the only one who got a little shaken up from that kiss.
He took my arm and walked up the stairs into the dining area.
