Ayato was always busy with missions, either he was really good at his job or there was nobody else to fill in for him. At least every second day he'd leave at 7 am and come back at 11 pm, he was always chirper once he came home, a silly smirk on his face as he went to sleep beside you.

You were suspicious of these missions, who smiles giddily after coming back from a life or death mission? Kirishima Ayato, that's who.

He was never too affectionate with you. Hell, you didn't even know how you both ended up together. Your relationship with him was tough and a lot of people thought he was using you. Which he was.

"I'm leaving." He said harshly, grabbing his leather jacket and slamming the door behind him. You looked up from your book to watch him leave, something was nagging at you to go follow him but you trusted Ayato. Didn't you?

Huffing, you put on your own jacket along with an umbrella and brought your mask just in case, rushing out into the rain after the violet haired male.

Since it was raining, ghouls senses weren't as sufficient, this gave you an advantage and so Ayato wouldn't catch your scent.

You walked over a bridge, keeping your eyes on him. You now we're both on total opposite sides of the road, just so he wouldn't suspect you.

You undid your umbrella to blend in and moved your hair so it partially hid your face, you let Ayato walk a little bit ahead of you, so you could watch from a safe distance.

You both walked for about 10 minutes before he narrowly cut down into an alleyway which lead to another street. You sighed and when no one was watching, you jumped to the roof of one of the buildings beside the alleyway and followed him from there.

You hid as he turned his head to the roofs of the buildings before knocking on a door of an apartment on the first floor.

You jumped down from the building with rain pummelling down on you and rushed towards the window of the apartment, looking in; it was bedroom of a woman due to ladies underwear and make up on the desk of the room.

Your eyes widened as you saw a curvy woman in sheer black lingerie enter the room with a grinning Ayato in tow, he locked the door behind him and took off his jacket, walking toward the woman who had her legs parted as she sat on the bed.

You watched in horror as he leant over her and hungrily kissed her before continuing to undress her. He was cheating on you. All those missions weren't missions at all! It was just a guise to meet up with this woman or was there more than one?!

You covered your mouth to muffle your sobs. "Mm, close the window." The woman moaned, Ayato chuckled as he got off the woman to proceed shutting the window and rolling down the curtains before he stood in horror and shock.

He had caught a glimpse of your crying face running on the rooftops of buildings, running away from the wretched sight you'd seen.

"Shit!" He cursed, gripping his violet hair. His mistress wrapped her arms around his naked torso and planted kisses on his back.

"Hmm, come back to bed." She whispered and he nodded, trying to forget your face. This was all his fault and being the arrogant male he was; he was going to ignore his mistake and take the easy way out, he was planning on dumping you already.

After his sexual encounter, he went to home you both shared. When he opened up, he noticed half the things inside were missing and a single note was left on the coffee table in the living room along with the book you'd been reading this morning.

'I'm leaving you, you deceitful, lying, disgusting piece of trash.

He simply sighed and threw the note in the bin, however as soon as he sat down, he was hit with a painful feeling of regret and nostalgia.

He had lost you, the one person that stuck by his side and did whatever he wanted was gone. All because of his arrogance and stupidity and worst of all, lies.

He had lost you and he knew he could never get you back now.
