Present Day"Get down!" I hissed loudly at Seville as he raised his head to check the clearing. Immediately he ducked down and we both sucked in our breaths. "They went this way." Someone shouted and the crunching of leaves became distant. Finally, we sighed in relief and smirked a little in another get away. The woodland fay had heard we were in there territory and quickly put out scouts.
I groaned and out my head on my knees. "This is definitely not good." I declared. Seville rubbed my arm and shushed me. "Its not your fault..." He began but I shrugged him off and stood up. I pointed down the dark path nodding. "Through vampire territory." I declared.
Now, your probably wondering what went down and why we're running. Let me tell you about my 18th birthday.
18th birthday
I woke up and smiled eagerly expecting my family to rush in and smother me in kisses and damage my ears with terrible birthday singing. Instead I heard sobbing and I looked down at myself. I seemed normal, the only different was that now I had my fairy tattoos! They were black and edgy. Eagerly I ran to my family and they only looked up expectantly. My bright mood was damaged and a frown replaced my smile. I don't see why everyone was so sad?! I balled up my fists and my mother put a hand over her mouth to cover her gasp. I looked down and was shocked to see my tattoos were glowing! My mother sat me down and explained everything. With tears I nodded and gasped as the door was busted open. "Give us the girl." That's when Seville grabbed from the back door.
Present Day
I started walking down the pathway when Seville stopped me. His eyes were in panic and he pointed down to the gate entrance. "Y-you wanna go to vampire territory? The bloodsucker?" He hissed. I nodded and continued walking. "I doubt they know anything about the prophecy and they think our blood is too sweet." I told him. He gulped and I took his hand and smiled. "It'll be fine." I promised.
He nodded and we entered the gates of the Vampire territory. The sky was permanently up and the moon bright with stars glittering the sky. Beautiful twinkling lights were everywhere and glinted of the pale skins. I looked in awe, surprised at the beauty. "Miracle sto-" before Seville could finish his sentence I bumped right into someone! I blushed furiously and backed away. "E-excuse me." I said quietly putting up my green cloak.
Even though I was sure no one here got the memo of who I was I had to be sure. Seville attempted to get me away but the male in front of me wouldn't have it. He bent down to my face so we were eye level. "No harm done Prophet girl." I gasped and without a second thought Seville and I ran.
We weren't positive where we were going just that we needed put of here. I looked over and Seville had limes of worry. "I'm so sorry...I thought no one knew..." I couldn't finish, I was too ashamed. My ignorance could have gotten us kidnapped. He hugged me before we were pushed into a crowded building.
I felt Seville's grip on me lessen till he wasn't there anymore and I tried to scream. Looking up it was the boy again and I was slammed into chair. Looking around frantically I tried to escape but the Vampire came in. Hello Miss. Fay." He began. I looked at him not replying. Something seemed familiar. I knew I had seen that face but I couldn't quite place it.
That's when a girl called over an announcer and said his name. "Dimitri? Did you find the girl?" She asked. That's when everything clicked in my head. My eyes widened and I called out his name. "Dimitri! Your name is Dimitri?!" It made sense but it didn't. Somehow I knew that he was okay. He looked confused and I stood up out of the handcuffs. He looked in shock and saw them melted on the floor.
He shrugged and smirked, "Well played." He said. I smiled and he looked around before opening the door. I smiled gratefully and then paused. "Seville, my bestfriend." I said. He thought for a moment before nodding. "Come on." He whispered and he took my hand and quietly led me to the back room. He pushed me against the wall with him in front and I blushed. He looked down and then smirked, his eyes glinting with amusement. I bit my lip and then his eyes went silver. I opened my mouth to gasp but he put his hand over my mouth.
He looked beyond the hall where two vampire guardians stood watch in front of a metal door. After only a minute of silence he casually walked down and the guards opened the door for him. My eyes were widened and then I saw there eyes. They looked clouded and they moved almost mechanically. He was a manipulater of the mind!
I shook my head and walked in. "Miracle!" Seville practically screamed. I saw branches all around him as if he tried to use his powers. Dimitri unlocked the cuffs and Seville ran to me. "Who is this guy?" He whispered to me. I shook my head, "Not sure but I will soon enough."
*****3 hours later*****
"Really?!" Dimitri groaned pulling at the rope keeping his hands together. I put my hood back up and shrugged. "Its a precaution, I'm wanted and people would pay money. Can't risk it." I explained once again to him.
After we got Seville and we got out of there I realized Dimitri needed to come with us. I didn't just dream about him for no reason. So, I knocked him out calling to the power of spirit. Then we tied him up and got out of the Vampire territory. Now we're roaming the forests of Between. A large land between territories. U felt the tug of him attempting escape so I pulled on the rope and sent a slight fire ball his way. "AHHHH okay sorry!" He screamed. I chuckled and Seville stood next to me as nervous as ever.
"Are we sure this is a good idea?" He asked me and glanced back at Dimitri. I rolled my eyes, "Probably not but stop worrying. He is important...not sure why...but he is." I said not sure if is was convincing him or myself. Was this really a good idea, dragging a vampire with us?
The sun was finally setting and I gave the rope to Seville. "Hold on." I told him and flew up to the tree and sighed. It had been quite a while since I had seen the sun setting or rising. I sat comfortably on a branch and bit my lip, refusing to cry. I hoped my mother and my family were doing okay.
Looking down I realized my tattoos were glowing once again and I felt something inside me stir. I knew I was a boiling pot and something inside of me was cooking. I only hoped I could find a way to control it and save everyone in time. I had to get to the royal Elven castle. They elves knew what to do, I just knew it. Only I had to get there first. As I began to climb back down pain in my chest and head bust through me.
I felt dark thoughts and I felt my insides were burning. I began to fall, weakly I grabbed onto branches. I wad lucky that the pain inside me was to great to feel anywhere else. With a blurry thud I felt to the grown. I heard to screams of worry as I thrashed on the ground. Two sturdy and cold arms engulfed me and I fell pray to darkness.
