Chapter 4

Gabriella's POV

I woke up with the worst headache ever.

I checked the time and it read 9:42 am!

Fuck I was way past late for school.

I realized what was the point of going if I was already late, and I didn't feel good.

So I called my mom to tell her what happened. Of course she got a bit mad at me saying how I shouldn't have been drinking at 18 but that it was fine for me to stay home.

None of my siblings were home, so I was all alone. It gave me the creeps but whatever.

I was watching tv downstairs when I realized I was hungry as fuck.

I got up to go make some breakfast,but right as I was about to make the eggs,there was a knock at the door.

I opened it and to my surprise,it was Justin!

"Hey Justin! Aren't you suppose to be at school? I asked him curiously.

"Seeing as you were pretty drunk last night,I figured you didn't go to school. And I was right" he said while smiling.

I swear I love that smile.

"Well I was just about to make breakfast, why don't you come in and have some? I offered.

"Actually, I was coming over to see if you wanted to go have breakfast at ihop. So,do you? He said awkwardly,but it was a good awkward.

"Not the way I'm dressed! I'll go change while you stay downstairs? I told him.

"Yeah,no problem" he said while coming in.

I quickly went upstairs to my room and put on a navy blue tank top that read "excersise? Extra fries" because that's basically my life motto. Some white joggers and moccasins. For the hair I just put it into a messy bun because I just wanted to be comfortable.

"Ready ba-" I stopped myself before saying "babe". That was so Embarrassing wow.

Justin just laughed like it was no big deal.

"It's okay babe,I know you want me" he said while winking and smirking.

This little cocky bastard I swear.

"Leggo" he said while heading out to his car.

We arrived at ihop and got seated in a booth.

"Hi! What would you like to drink? The nice waitress asked.

"I'll take a sweet tea please"I told her.

"And I'll get some orange juice" Justin said.

"Okay I'll be right back with your drinks" she said and left.

"So,tell me about yourself" I asked him.

"Well,I moved here from Stratford Ontario, Canada. It was difficult for me because I had to leave my grandparents behind because I love them so much,but I knew it was best for my mom because she needed a fresh start. My parents are divorced. My dad lives with his girlfriend and my step sister, jazzy and Jaxon my step brother. They're the cutest little things. I don't really have much else to say I guess" he said. He looked so happy when he was talking about his siblings.

"So,now you tell me about yourself" he pointed at me.

"I have three siblings. One older brother,Matthew,Reneè my oldest sister and zack my annoying teenage brother. My mom and dad are both very successful and they go on business trips almost every other month so I don't get to see much of them" I told him other things as he listened carefully.

They came with our drinks and took our order.

As we were waiting for what seemed like forever, I started playing with the syrup they had and poured some on a spoon and tried to feed it to Justin like a baby.

"Come on! Open! Here comes the airplane! I said in a baby voice.

"Gabby please,I'm a grown man. I do not tolerate this nonsense" he said while pretending to be mature.

"Okay fine if you say so" I said while putting the spoon down.

He started yawning,so I took it as my chance put the spoon in his mouth.

His eyes practically popped out of his head because he was so surprised. I found it hilarious so I started laughing.

"You know you're the most beautiful girl on earth right? He said while smiling at me and his eyes twinkling.

"Thank you Justin. You are one of the nicest guys I have ever met and I appreciate you for that" I told him thankfully.

"So why are you this nice to me? I like to think I'm like any other normal 18 year old girl" I half questioned him.

"I just feel like you're special to me. What I say about you is true. You are perfect in my eyes gabby. When I look at you smile, I start to smile because your just that lovable" he told me.

I teared up a bit as he told me that because no one had ever made me feel that loved before.

"Aw. Don't cry beautiful" he said while wiping away my tears.

"I'm sorry. You're just... I don't know Justin. I have never met anyone like you before and you are making me feel so special telling me I'm beautiful even when I'm wearing not the best outfit. I'm thankful you came into my life" I told him.

And it was true. I might even say I love him even though we barely know each other I just feel like I could open up to him and be myself around him.

Justin POV

After IHOP, we headed back to her house.

She told me if I wanted to stay for a bit and hang out m,but I told her I needed to go run some errands with my mom. When in reality, I was going to talk to my mom about what to do or the type of commitment I should make to Gabriella.

As I was driving, I started thinking about Gabriella.

I love her. Even though we barely met, I feel as if she's the one I could settle down with.

She's the one that could make me forget about what happened a while back.

She's the one I want. I need. I love.

I know I should wait a bit more,but that'll be hard for me because I don't want to wait any longer in asking her to be my girlfriend. She's special to me and I know I should wait, but I just want to treat her right and be able to love her.

When I  got home, I told my mom about Gabriella,and what I wanted to do.

We came up with the perfect plan.
