As I relaxed back in drivers seat of my car, I dug my hands into my pockets and pulled m cigarettes and lighter. I took one out and placed it loosely between my lips while I reached around the wheel to start the car. What the literal fuck are we going to do, he knew that I remembered what he had done after we returned to the signing booth. Mortals don't remember. Everyone knows that. I couldn't let them find out about Mara, especially not knowing witch side of the war they are on. Surely Mara knows that.

I reached over and rolled down my window and glanced through the mirror. As I lit my cigarette, Mara busts through the doors, followed by a fuming Raven. All I could do is roll my eyes. It's pretty pathetic that they lose their shit more often that me, The Overseer of the Fifth Ring of Hell, Wrath.

The girls piled in the SUV and silently sent death glares at each other through the rear view mirror.

"Really?" I finally spoke up, knocking my ashes out of the window. "What the fuck happened? Like just suck each other off and get over it."  I threw the car into reverse and started for the exit of the parking lot.

"She made me pay." Raven spat, pulling a cigarette of her own out.

"I don't have any fucking cash!" I growled slightly and slammed on my brakes, snatching my wallet out of my pocket and tossed it onto Ravens lap.

"Take what I owe you and shut the fuck up before I get mad." I shook my head and glanced at the both of them, before pulling off onto the street. "I swear it's like I am, ME, the most zen fucker here. Why can't you just go get envious like you're supposed to," I shot my eyes to Raven briefly "and you," Mara huffed and turned her head to avoid eye contact. "Why don't you just go kill someone and get on your knees and ask for your mother to forgive you."

I got a loud tsk from the both of them. As I slowed at a stop light I tossed my cigarette out of the window and rolled it back up"

"Seriously, Raven The Overseer of the Forth Ring of Hell Envy. Mara, Nephilim, half Demon half Angel. Do your own thing, and leave my job the hell alone." I smirked softly and I pulled into parking lot of our home. It's a two story building. The second story is a 3 bed, 2 1/2 baths apartment. The first story is the bar "Dirty Devils".

"Did we ever decide what we are doing about tomorrow?" Mara changed the subject as she opened her door, once I turned the car off.

"As much as we all want to, it's not going to happen." Raven spoke up as she jumped out of the car. I followed, locking the car up.

"Yeah I think it's for the best we don't. Plus, I have to get to work on the books for work." I groaned as I trudged up the side set of stairs that lead to out apartment.

"You know, it'd be cool if I actually got a say in what was good or bad for me." Mara groaned as she swung open the front door. As we all piled in, I dropped my keys on the table by the door and hung my jacket up on the coat rack.

"Mara, it's not about you anymore." I walked into the kitchen to retrieve three beers, and walked back to the couch and plopped down between the two girls before handing them their beer. "We have absolutely no idea who they are, what they want. Most importantly, what side of the war they are on."

"I forgot about that.." Mara trailed off in a small voice.

"Speaking of which, have you heard anything new from your Dad?" Raven asked as she cracked open her beer. I sighed and shook my head.

"No news yet, which I guess in turn, is news. Whether it's good or bad, I haven't got a clue." I took a big swig and sat up a bit. "Although I have heard from a few of my own soldiers that it looks like the rebellion is falling out in their end. But I don't know whether it's confirmed or not."

"Have they found anything of the rebellion leader yet?" Mara slumped over on the arm of the couch. I shook my head.

"Who ever it is was prepared. They blinded us before taking us by the balls." I reach up and sat my beer on the table.

"Honestly it's our own fault for not believing the the prophecies." Raven snorted as she took another drink.

"You kno-" I was cut off from a knock on the door.

"I'll get it, it's probably Kyle." Mara stood up and ran to the door.

"Whelp I'm ready to get fucked up." I slapped Ravens knee as I started to stand up.

"Same." She laughed as she chugged the rest of her bottle.
