Chapter 8

Aladdin watched the clock.

Tick. Tick. Tick.

With every tick his frustration grew. He wanted to leave the class already. He missed Jasmine. He felt a smile slip as he remembered the night they had together.

She was amazing.

Just...amazing.

So far they had been on three dates, each one better than the last.

His phone rang interrupting him from his daydreams.

He pulled it out of his pocket and checked who it was.

Flynn.

Poor guy. He had been hauled up in his room only going out for food and football. Refusing to do anything else but mope around.

Why, you ask?

Because of Rapunzel. She has been ignoring him and not returning any of his calls. It's shattering his heart.

But rumour has it that she's been hanging out with the princesses. They even let her into the cheerleading squad. She moved fast in only the few weeks she had been here.

And it was tearing Flynn apart.

I answered the phone,"Yeah?"

"When are you coming back, Jim is trying to make me eat that funny sluggish thing again!" I laughed as I heard the desperation in his voice.

Jim was our friend who lived with us in the dorm. He was a pretty weird kid always making food and making us taste it.

I laughed into the phone, "I'll be there in five."

I hung up to Flynn begging me to come faster. As soon as the class ended I quickly got up heading for the dorms. I made it outside, the light sun blinding my eyes.

When my phone rung once again, I pulled it out of my pocket and checked the caller ID while throwing my bag over my next shoulder.

It was my dad, a smile played on my lips as I answered. "Hey dad."

"Hey Aladdin, how's Disney been?"

"Good, you alright alone back at home? I know you must miss me dearly."

"Not as much as you miss me."

I chuckled. My father was a very laid back and chill type of person. Considering I only found out he was my father two years ago, he was doing a good job as a father.

You see, I used to live in an orphanage. You're wondering why? Well because for the first sixteen years of my life, I thought that my parents were dead or had abandoned me. Although the orphanage wasn't the best of places it was still my home. It was also where I met Flynn. We had both grown up there.

When I found out I had a father I was the happiest person alive. I had never been adopted but feeling like you belonged was amazing. He even adopted Flynn as well, since I wasn't going to leave without him. Because we were two peas in a pot, always together. So that's how we became our own little family.

"So you two want to come over on Tuesday, I'm feeling the end of a family lunch."

I was about to agree when I remembered my date with Jasmine.
