Chapter 14

A doctor walked out to us "you two are here for Maddie?" Both me and chess shot up and ran over. "Is she ok!" Chess asked her voice shaky as if she was about to cry again

The doctor nodded "she's just fine. We stitched up her arm she should be just fine"

"Can we see her please?" I asked as the doctor nodded "this way. She's resting right now. So don't expect her to be talking much" he lead us down the hall and opened up a door

I walked in and went straight to her side. She laid their still. Seeing her like that broke my heart. Chess looked at her turning her head to try and hide her tears. Then she looked up at me "mark I'm assuming your staying here. Do you want me to go her you anything from your apartment?"

I nodded "yeah. Some cloths and my laptop if you could please. And maybe a few things for her to do when she wakes up. " chess smiled then left to go get the things I asked for

~a few minutes later~

Chess came back and a bag full of stuff cloths for me some for Maddie. Maddies phone her notebook. My laptop and a few books it looked like "thanks chess" she nodded handing me my laptop. "I'm gonna make a video ok?" Chess nodded as I started up the video
