Chapter 17

Maddie's POV

I had been in the hospital for a week. Today was the day I finally get to go home. If had been the longest week ever. But everyday. Mark was there to make it better.

He flung the certens open letting the light shine in right on to my eyes

"Ow! Fuuuuuuck!" I wined rolling over "Maddie wake up!" He cheered happily trying to pull me out if bed "but Maaaarrk I wanna sleeep!" I wined again but he kept pulling "Maddie come on I'm taking you home today! The doctors have one last check up to do get you some medication then it off we go!!" With that I sat up. Swinging my feet over the bedside I stood getting out of bed. Mark was finishing packing the bag Chess had brought earlier in the week.

I grabbed my phone "mark come make a video with me" I said sitting back on the edge if the bed. He came and say next to me as I started the video

"Hello welcomed, honored, and esteemed guests to the mad hatters tea party, I'm your host Maddie the mad hatter. I'm here today with my boyfriend markiplier. And I just wanted to give you guys an update on how I'm doing. I'm feeling much much better and ill be leaving the hospital today. I should be back to making videos for you guys very soon we both just wanna make sure I'm all better."

Mark hugged my shoulders "and ill be with her to make sure everything's ok." He smiled at me as he laid his head against mine. "Alright all my guests I hope you enjoyed yourselves and I hope to see you at my next tea party. Byee" I smiled ending the video and uploading it soon after.

A doctor walked in with a smile "hi Maddie how are you doing?" I smiled back ready to leave "I'm just fine. When can I leave?" He wrote something in his clipboard "soon Maddie, soon. I've got these for you" he handed a pill bottle to mark "make sure she takes these once a day." Mark nodded "alright can I check her out now?" The doctor gave mark a nod as he grabbed my hand and my bag walking out to the front desk

I sat in a chair as mark got me checked out and was now taking a picture with a kid that was in the waiting room. When he was done the kid thanked him and he walked over to me "ready babe?"

"Yeah lets go I can't stay here any longer!" I said getting up and runnin out of the hospital.

Mark and I talked the who way home. He let my play my music in the car and he sang along to the songs he knew. We rolled down the windows and sang as loud as we could turning up the music so loud people walking on the street could hear it. I never wanted to forget moments like this with him. Moments like this where all that I can do is laugh until my sides hurt.

As we pulle up to his house he opened my door with a grin bag in his hand "so Maddie I have a surprise for you" he smirked helping me out "I hope your gonna like it" I titled my head giving him a smile "I'm sure I will" I said as we walked to his house

Mark told me to close me eyes when we got to his door. I did and I hear him getting out his keys and opening the door leading me in "ok..open them"

I did and I gasped
