Chapter 18

I gasped. As soon as I walked in the door their was a huge sign that said "WELCOME HOME MADDIE" I glanced back at Mark "you mean..?" He set my things down and out his arms around my waist

"Maddie. The doctor asked me to look after you for a while until he was sure you were better and I what better way to do that then have you move in with me." He gave me a toothy smile.

I jumped up wrapping my arms around him "oh mark!" I giggled hugging him. He wrapped his arms around and kissing my cheek "come on. Lets put some of this away. Chess started to move stuff from your apartment to here" he smiled carrying me up to his room. I giggles when he sent me down "here we are m'lady"

Grinning he went to bring my bag up the stairs "now you stay here and don't move me and you are gonna do whatever you want until you can't think of anything else to do"

I giggles pushing my hair back "can we play video games just to play video games?" He gave me a nod "go pick out what games you want to play" he smiled. I picked out Mario Kart holding it up "this one"

"God damnit" mark laughed. "You always win when we play this" he said setting up the game

"That's because I'm just better then you at it" I teased nudging him gently

"Thems fightin' words missy" he smiled planting a kiss on my forehead

A few rounds in and I had beat mark in every signal race

Ohmygod I feel like I haven't updated this in forever. It's been way too long.

So I've got a question for you guys. How many of you have read the book croak? If you haven't read it, it's so good there's three books I'm the series and I recommend this book to everyone that's looking for a good read. And the reason I ask that is because I'm thinking of writing a few croak related stories soon and I just wanted to know how many of you have read the book.
