The Girl I Never Knew(Harry Styles fanfiction)

Eleny's POV

I walked out of the girl's locker room and got into my car, a little stick shift BMW that I could hardly drive because I horrible at the clutch. I was kind of nervous for later. I had never hung out at a guy's house, alone, without friends. Especially when I hardly knew this guy. I came home to find my dad up and getting ready to leave for work.

"How was swim?" My dad asked me as he was tying his shoes.

"Um it was pretty much death, I think I'm dead. It was so hard." I replies and laughed a little. "I'm soooo sorrreeee."
"Well, I'm glad to hear that practice was good!" My dad snickered back in response.

"Um, something else happened to...this guy, Harry, invited me over to his house. Are we doing anything later?" I asked nervously, knowing that he would tease me about this.

"Harry? Who's that? I've never heard of him. Is he nice?"

"Yeah, he's nice. I don't really know him to be honest, he just invited me over. Can I go though?" I asked and leaned on him a little bit.

"It sounds fine to me, but I want to meet him if you guys are going to spend more time together. Have fun." My dad said to me as he walked out of the door.

Now, I went to tell my mom. I knew that she would say yes of course. She's my mom and I've never had a boyfriend or a date to a dance or even invited to a guy's house in general, so I knew she would be excited.

"Wait, is Harry Anne's son? Anne is such a sweetheart, so her son should be too I suppose." My mom told me excitedly.

"Ok, thanks mom. Imma go shower now okay."

I got ready and put on some mascara, foundation, and some eye shadow. It wasn't a whole lot,  but it was something right? Ooo what should I wear? I don't want to be too casual because this boy's cute, but I don't want to be too formal either. I decided on faded light blue shorts that were ripped at the ends and a spaghetti strapped top that had a cute sun flowers on it. That's cute right? 

Around 9:45, I looked at the address to look up directions and started on my way. It only took me 5 minutes to get there and I didn't want to be awkwardly early, so I just parked a couple houses down and looked at Instagram until 10:00. The outside of his house was light brown, had stone pillars, and had huge windows that were all open. The house was just completely gorgeous and it made me wonder how much money he had. Harry didn't act like he had that much, but it made me wonder. I went up to the necessarily tall, brown door and pulled the brass handle and knocked a little melody. 

"I like your knock Eleny, it's funny!" Harry said to me as he opened the door. He smiled and I noticed that he had two huge dimples that were just adorable. His curly hair wrapped around his face and color flushed his face when he smiled. 

I laughed a little and said, "Thanks Harry, I try lol. How are you?" I asked, trying to create conversation. 

"I'm good! I'm excited that I won't be home alone today. I've been getting bored with that. You can come on in, I uh, I made breakfast." Harry said to be as he looked down at the ground. I could tell that he was embarrassed because he cooked breakfast for me.

"Oh, thank you Harry. That's really sweet of you." I said as I walked in. Aww his house was so cute. It was really pretty on the outside, so you would think that it would be completely over-done on the inside, but it wasn't. There was a hallway with two bedrooms on the sides and there were pictures of Harry's family all over the walls. I guess that he has one sibling, an older sister, and a mother. However, I did find a picture of when Harry was little with a man that must have been his father. They looked really similar, but he wasn't in any of the recent photos. I wondered if he died. Anyway, we walked into the dining room and I smiled at Harry as I smelled the food.

"You made pancakes? Harry you need to cook for me more often, bring some to practice!"

Harry smiled and looked back at me. "I'm glad you like them, I wasn't sure if you had any allergies or anything, but I didn't want to ask because I didn't want to spoil the surprise. Do you want to eat on the coach? We can watch tv or something." 

I replied that that would be fine and we got our food and settled on the couch. I was glad that we were watching tv because it's less awkward than actually having a sit down meal with someone. This way, we could just make jokes about the shows and get to know each other's personalities. Harry asked me what I wanted to watch. Normally, I would say, whatever, but I've been obsessed with Parks and Rec, so I told him that. He had never heard of it, but he said that he was open to it. Harry laughed a lot, I mean a lot a lot. It was so cute though and I couldn't help laughing at his laugh. Needless to say, Harry ended up loving it and we binge watched 4 episodes. 

"I can't believe I haven't heard of this before, this is amazing!" Harry stated as he laughed a little. 

"I know, that's why I've watched the whole series. It's like the best thing ever." I replied as I smiled again. 

"Do you want to stay for lunch? It's getting close to 12." Harry asked me as I looked away from the tv. 

"I would, but are you sure? You've already given me one meal."

"Yes, Eleny, it's fine. We can go out. I don't really feel like cooking." Harry told me and I smiled. He wanted to take me out. He wanted me to stay with him. It just made me feel all warm inside and I could feel blush creeping into my cheeks. 

2 hours later:

"OMG HARRY HOW HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF THIS RESTAURANT ITS AMAZING IMMA COME HERE EVERYDAY!" I exclaimed to Harry as I woofed down my food. We were at a place called Nando's, who names their restaurant that? But anyway, it was amazing.

"Eleny, I told you! I told you that you wouldn't be able to stop coming here once you've come once and you didn't believe me." Harry pointed his finger at me as he teased me. 

"Ya, you were right. I love this place!"

After our declaration of love for Nando's was exclaimed by Harry and I, he took me home. Harry walked me up to my door and said, "I had a great time today Eleny." However, he said it in a totally romantic way, serious way and he took a step forward as he talked. It made the butterflies leap in my stomach and I could feel blush once again creeping into my cheeks.

"I did too Harry. I'm really glad that you had nothing better to do with your life than invite me over because it totally made my day," I told him back. He took another step toward me and I looked down to see him interlocking my hands with his. I looked up at him and he stared at me with those deep, emerald eyes as he leaned in and our lips connected. I could feel sparks as our lips touched and it made me feel lighter than air. His hair tickled my face as it touched it. We pulled away and smiled at each other. I looked at him and saw that he was smiling just as much as I was.

"I'm glad that I had nothing better to do too Eleny. See you tomorrow right?"

"See you tomorrow Harry," I said as I waved and walked in the front door. I looked in the mirror and saw that my cheeks were super red. I never knew I could blush so much until I met Harry.
