****ever since I left the city, you, you, you. you and me we just don't get along. you make me feel like I did you wrong. going places where you don't belong.****
"okay just call me, okay?"
Cameron ended the voicemail.
he laid in his little bus bed and closed his eyes.
she hadn't answered his calls or texted him back and he was started to get worried. she was going out more and going to the bad side of town where all the druggies are. she didn't like to party that much and she didn't take drugs
or did she? he didn't know anymore.
his phone started to vibrate and he picked it up immediately not even checking to she who it was.
"hey" her soft voice soothed him and he suddenly felt at peace.
"are you okay? I've been trying to reach you."
"yeah I'm good, "she sounded drained. "I can't believe you left me"
he paused. no wonder she wasn't answering his calls or texts.
a boyfriend isn't supposed to leave his girlfriend.
wait but he wasn't her boyfriend.
was he?
"I'm so sorry baby I'll be home soon."
what home will he be back at?
"whatever" she said annoyed and about to hang up.
"don't do this-" he started and didn't get to finish.
"I gotta run bye Cameron."
he held the phone to his ear a long time after she hung up. hoping she would come back.
she didn't.
