Feelings

What?! Did those three words just come out of his mouth? I cant ask him now because he's asleep and I dont want to wake him. Chace just told me he loves me. But we cant be together because of this whole mate thing! 

                                                                      1 week later

"Ziva?" Chace sleepily asked

"Yes Chace ?" I replied

"Did you like my speech? I had been trying to tell you for ages but we kept getting interupted. I know the whole mate thing, but I don't have one and neither do you."

"Chace , as much as this kills me to say but we can't be together. Your real mate is our there somewhere and so is mine. We cant be together unless we both reject our mates. I'm sorry"

"But Ziva," Bella said as she jumped into my arms, "Chace loves you. And I love Chace ."

"Awh, thats sweet, Bells. But you know about the mate rule." I replied

"I love you too Bells." Chace added. "Ziva, don't go. It will kill me. Please don't go. I love you, we could start a family, it's happened before. Please Ziva, Please. For me"

"I need to get away from here for a while. Jaxon wants me, not anyone else in my family. If I leave, then none of you will be hurt anymore. I'm sorry." I told them. "Bells, be a good girl. Tell mum and dad where I am. I love you darling. Goodbye." 

I put Bella on the ground and turned to Chace . "Look after your self, superstar. Try not to get hurt anymore. Byee." I whispered to him as I kissed him one last time.

Then I left. I heard Bella start crying but I needed to do this. I needed to find this bastard before he wrecks my family anymore.  

My family are going to murder me if I ever came back.

There is only one question on my mind now. Where am I supposed to stay?

Courtnie. My best wolf friend. I pulled out my phone and  dialed her.

"Hello?" Courtnie asked

"Courtnie! It's Ziva. How are you?" I exclaimed

"Oh my god! Hey! Im great thanks and you?"

"Thats good. I could be better. Hey, listen. I've left home and I need a place to stay. Do you mind if I crash at yours for awhile?"

"Yeah, that's fine. When can you come?"

"30 minutes,"

 "Cool, you have a lot of explaining to do."

"Thanks Nut, Love you"

I put my phone in my pocket, phased and sprinted to Nut's house. I have no idea why we all call her Nut, we just do.  

I was feeling very good from my run when I got the Nuts' house. 

Before I could even phase, she was sprinting down the stairs, screaming. When I had phased into a human, I started screaming aswell. We haven't seen each other in years. She has changed so much!

Her family are wolves as well. They're very strong and high up. I am going to feel so safe here, I thought to myself.  

"You looking amazing!" I shouted to her. I was so happy I was seeing my best friend.

"So do you!" she shouted back at me. "Right, missy moo. You have a LOT of explaining to do." 

It took us a while to get to her room with her massive family all being so happy to see me. When we finally got to her room, we sat on her bed and I launched into the whole thing. From my first day at school, meeting Chace , almost dying, having Bells taken away from me, seeing Jaxon and leaving Chace and my family. Once I had finished, I was crying. 

"It will be alright. Promise. We will protect you here." She hushed to me.

I fell asleep before dinner. I was so tired, exhausted and worn out.

                                                                    2 weeks later

I woke up at 2:37am with a start. Something wasn't right. I tiptoed to the window and froze. He was standing there. Jaxon. He just doesn't give up. I turned around and jumped on Courtnie.

"Courtnie! He's here! He's outside. Jaxon. You need to wake up." I half whispered

"What?" she woke up suddenly.

"Quick, we need to wake the others."

We both ran out the room and warned the others. In less than a minute, we were all assembled behind Nuts' father in our wolf forms.

One behind the other, we each stepped through the door and into the moonlight to face Jaxon.

I studied him closely. It wasn't Jaxon at all.

I gasped.

"Ziva," the so called Jaxon called. "Come here. Come on, I wont hurt you."

There was a chorus of growls as I started to walk towards him.

"Noah!" I said under my breath."What are you doing here?"

"I came to warn you all. But I knew you all wouldn't come out unless you thought there was immediate danger." He replied.

"Warn us about what?"

"As soon as Bells and Chace got home, he attacked the house. When he realised you weren't here, he left. He's forming an army to come and get you. To destroy anyone and anything that gets in his way."

There were low growls coming from behind me. I turned around.

"It's alright guys, It's just Noah." I told them.

"Noah! How are you? Nuts' dad called. "And why did you get us all out here?"

"Hey Mr. Kelley. I'm okay thanks. I'm sorry but I knew I couldn't get you all out here unless you thought there was immediate danger. Jaxon is forming an army to come and take Ziva. And he wont stop until he gets her. We have no idea why he wants her. I'm asking for your help, to protect my sister. Please?"

Courtnie stepped forward. "I pledge my life to your pack, to help protect Ziva."

The rest soon followed.

"Now, Ziva. We need you to come home. You will be safer there," stated Noah.

"Fine," I sighed.

Nuts' pack followed us home. When we got back, my whole family was so mad at me.

But then they were all happy I was back. Bells and Ray were the happiest!

"Ziva!" Bella shrieked when she saw me, "You came back!"

"Yeah, I did," I laughed.

"Ziva! Darling. Are you alright?" Chace asked me

Whilst I was gone, I realised that I really did love him.
