Chapter 9
“Thanks Tonks for helping me get some things” I said as we walked into the house “Let me pay you back though” I said as we walked down the hallway
“No just think of it as a present for the babies” Tonks said as she waved her wand and the baby things disappeared.
“I have to go but I will be back later” Tonks said giving me a hug
“I guess I’ll see you later” she said
“Bye” I said before Tonks disappeared with a puff of smoke. Sighing I walked down the hall or well I waddled into the kitchen.
“Are you okay?” Dad asked when I walked into the kitchen. Dad was currently sitting at the front of the table with different pieces of parchment.
“Mhm” I mumbled as I got out the ingredients for tonight’s dinner
“Miss Black I will make dinner tonight you rest” Kreacher said walking over to me
“It’s okay Kreacher I want to do it” I said smiling at him, his head fell and he walked away. I hated making him feel bad but I wanted to cook it was something I didn’t get to do much.
“Let Kreacher help Juliet we have guest coming tonight” Dad said as he went through the different pieces of parchment on the table.
“How many?” I asked
“I think over ten” he said looking up from the paper
“I can cook for that” I said as I started cutting up the vegetables. Kreacher came over and started helping me cut the vegetables.
“Kreacher don’t you have other things you need to do then help me?” I asked, I wasn’t trying to be mean but Kreacher had a lot to do for only one elf.
“Kreacher must help Miss Black before the other chores” Kreacher said using third person
" Kreacher please don’t make more work for yourself by helping me so please go do your other chores before you back them all up by helping” I said sincerely to Kreacher, he looked at me straight in eyes.
“Yes Miss Black, Kreacher will do other chores” he said before walking slowly out of the kitchen.
“Why do you have to be so nice to him, he hates us” dad said from the table
“I know he does but I just feel bad” I said as I put the vegetables into the boiling water
“Don’t he serves us” he said before walking out of the kitchen
Later
“Oh look at your dear!” Molly said rushing over to me with a huge smile on her face
“Let me help you dear, you should be relaxing being almost five months along” she said taking the spoon out of my hands and started stirring the soup.
“Thank you” I said as I began to sit the table
“I cannot wait for my boys to get here I know you will just love them” she said happily
“I could wait” I thought to myself. Sighing I grabbed the cup of tea in front of me and took a sip. Tonks came rushing into the room with a panicked look on her face. As soon as she spotted me she rushed over and kneeled next to me.
“They’re here; we need to get you hidden for a few minutes so we can hide the fact that you’re pregnant” she said franticly throwing her hands up.
“Well let’s go” I said jumping up out of the chair only to get nausous.
