chapter 29

Nick's P.O.V

i got the girl of my dreams. i can't believe she said yes to marry me. i love her so much and i can't wait for us to live the rest of our lives together.i want her to have my child but i'll wait til she's ready. 

well today she has an interview for the hospital she applied for. i know she's going to get that job. i promised her that i wouldn't do anything and i will keep that promise. right now she's getting ready but she's getting really nervous. i tried to make her less nervous by saying encouraging and soothing words. i don't know if it's working but i'm hoping that it is because she already has this job i can just tell.

it was getting around the time for her to go and she couldn't find something. "what are you looking for babe?" i asked her

"my other shoe" she said holding up this shoe

i looked for the other one and i saw it on the other side of the room. i walked over there and picked it up. i went over to Savanah and handed it to her. when she got it on she kissed me quickly and went to the door. before she got to the door i ran to her and hugged her and said good luck. she said thank you and went out the door.

i went up to my office and started to do work. i was so into the work and when i got a call i jumped. i made sure that no one saw that but then i realized that no one is even her, so i shook my head. 

i picked up the phone without looking at the ID and said "this is Nick King who is this?"

"hey babe" Savanah said sadly

"hey what happened?" i asked

"nothing it's just i got the job!" she said excitedly 

"wait what that's awesome babe i knew you could do it" i said to her

"thank you so much babe i wouldn't know what I've done without you here to encourage me" she told me

"it's no problem babe you would've done the same to me if the roles were reversed" i said

"i know but after you said all those things i felt way better" she said 

"well come home and we will celebrate your job" i said

"okay bye babe i'll see you when i get there" she said hanging up

i finished my work and went to the kitchen to start making the dinner. i made her favorite food which is spaghetti and garlic bread. i heard the door opening and then i felt arms around my waist. i turned off the stove and turned around and i hugged her to me.

i leaned down and kissed her softly. but after the kiss started to get hungrier. i pulled her more into me and my hands rested on her butt. her hands went to my hair and she pulled on it and i moaned at the feeling. but after a while we started to get out of breath so i pulled away and rested my head on hers. i smiled at her and she returned the smile. i pulled away and started to cook again and she went to get changed. i finished cooking and i put the food on the table. 

she came down and we started to eat. but halfway into the dinner we heard repeatedly knocks on the door. i quickly told Savanah to stay here and went to the door. and when i opened it it was Dylan. he pushed past me and went to the living room. i went inside the room and he said quickly.

"i kissed Brittany"

"why do you say it like that?" i asked him

"it wasn't supposed to happen like that" he said

"happen like what?" i asked confusedly

"like when she actually likes me" he said

"dude she likes you" i said laughing

"wh-what?" he stuttered

"she likes you everyone could see that" i said

"oh no i messed everything up" he said sitting down with his hands on his face

i sat next to him and asked him "what did you do?"

"well after i kissed her i told her it was a mistake and ran out the door" he told me

"wow dude you messed up big time" i told him

"hey! you're supposed to help me not kill me" he said

"well i'm not good at this i really don't know how i got Savanah but if you want  can get Savanah in here to help us" i suggested

"yes can you get her i really need help" he told me

but when i went to get her in the dining room where i left her i saw her and Brittany in there talking well more Brittany crying and Savanah trying to sooth her.
