chapter 30

Savanah's P.O.V

after the dinner i had with Nick we heard the doorbell ring. he told me to stay and i did but i got a text from Brittany saying that she's here and to open the door. and when i did she hugged me squeezing me hard. i led her to the dining room.

"what happened?" i asked her when she stopped crying

"well i was with Dylan and we were having dinner and after it he took me home. i invited him inside and then he kissed me and then he left running. Savvy why can't anyone like me?" she asked

"Brittany lot's of people like you. but i thought Dylan liked you?" i asked her

"i did too but i guess not anymore it seemed that he regretted it right after he did it" she said

i hugged her when she started to cry again. i looked up and i saw Nick looking at us in shock. i gave him a confused look and he just mouthed that he needed me to come with him. i nodded and i told Brittany that i will be back.

i got up and followed Nick to the living room. once i saw Dylan in there i went right up to him and slapped him. he looked at me confused as to why i did that.

"that was for what you did to Brittany she likes you, you idiot! but now you did that and she second guessing herself. i thought you liked her why would you play her like that i can't believe i didn't warn her about you! i thought you were different but you even fooled me" i whispered yelled because i don't want Brittany to hear this  

"Savanah i do like her but i thought she didn't like me and when i kissed her i thought that she didn't like me and i messed up big time so i ran like a coward i am" he reasoned with me

"well right now she's in the dining room crying about you played her" i told him

he stood up "i need to talk to her" he said

"oh no you don't she's not ready to see you right now" i said pushing him down

"but i need to tell her that i'm not playing her. i messed this up so much" he muttered the last part to himself but we heard it

"well i need to go back there and comfort her but i'll say something to her" i told him 

i walked back to the dining room and i saw that Brittany was still sitting there but she was not crying anymore. i sat down next to her and put my arm around her.

"i heard you talk to Dylan" was the first thing she told me

"oh did you hear everything?" i asked her

"yes i did" she said

"what do you think?" i asked

"well i now know he likes me but what i still don't get is why he didn't stay around so we could've talked about it" she said

"well guy's are stupid like that they don't think before they do anything. and they think the best thing is to run away" i told her 

"you're right but guess i need to talk to him about this" she said standing up

i stood up to and we walked to the living room where the boy's are at. when Dylan saw her he stood up and walked up to her and hugged her. 

"i'm so sorry for what i did Brittany" he said

before i could hear anything else Nick pulled me away. we walked up to our room and he hugged me to him and kissed me on the head.

"your best friend is stupid Nick" i told him

"i know Savvy" he said
