Scarlet:
I slowly stepped outside my room. I began to cook some tofu for BB and some bacon and eggs for everyone else. I put a teaspoon of powder from a small crimson, velvet bag. I stirred everything together. I began to make some warm tea and waffles for Raven. I looked at the feast fit for six. I quickly shuffled back to my room with the crimson bag in hand. In my room I studied it. The soft white powder, made from crushed pill versions. I scooped up a tiny handful and began to inhale it. If I took this, I could leave this world of misery and force. I could finally choose to be a good guy instead of bad. I weighed the options and began to pour the powder. It slid in easily, I slowly drifted off into sleep. By body slowly becoming limp.
Beast Boy:
I awoke to the smell of cooked tofu.
"Ah..." I sighed to myself. I looked at the alarm clock. 4:15 it said. I sat up and grabbed the little velvet covered box sitting next to my clock. I opened the box and looked at the silver wolf inside. The wolf lated on a satin pillow and was strung with a silver ball chain. I was going to give it to the girl I share my first date with. I've had it for twelve years. I walked out to the kitchen. I saw the cooked tofu and waffles. Everything good for breakfast in the world was out. I began to dig into the dish as the others appeared and began to dine with me. Suddenly I felt weak and feeble. I fell to my knees. My eyes slowly closed, the food was poisoned. I wanted to scream it out at them. I could barely muster enough strength to even breathe. I fell into a deep eternal darkness.I awoke, all was black but a dark brown floor laid beneath my feet.
"Well, well, well! I have almost got all of you in my trap! Ha!" Slade said.
"You!" I said angrily. I was angry that I kept falling into his trap.
"Beast Boy! Why do you fall for my tricks all the time? I would think maybe you were smarter than your dad, ha, but no. Beast's just don't seem to learn!" He said with a laugh.
I gave him my worst glare I could muster.
"Oh! Well that doesn't make any difference just glaring now does it?" He said with a laugh.
"Where are the others? Is Raven Ok?" I yelled.
"You finally decided who you like! Yay!" He began sarcastically "They all are fine!"
"I will get you one day or another."
"But how can you if your parents had no luck? I destroyed them at their last moments. I almost killed them if I had the chance. What they said to you were lies. They barely escaped with their lives. You must learn, everyone has secrets otherwise we would all be very similar." Slade said.
"Then what about you?" I said, turning his words against him. "You must then have a secret. You haven't seemed quite as into it as you used to be, and the suit looks much too baggy from the drawings and memories in my father's head. What is this evil secret you are hiding?" His hand shook a slight bit.
"I- I- I don't need to tell you. You must say yours first." He said, his voice trembling with fear.
"I am smarter than I let on and I can tell you're so scared, even that brain inside you is trembling with fright." I said.
"Ok, now I must tell you mine. Nobody is the first generation here." He said and he left me to ponder on his words.
Raven:
As I swept the floor, Cy and Robin cane in and headed straight for the still warm food.
"Cy- Robin- don't- eat- seriously." I said, trying to stop them from eating the food. They fell onto the floor, almost missing each other with their forks. I walked over to my room. I saw on the dusty desk a picture of my mom and Changeling, the original Beast Boy. She was the one hugging him unlike all other pictures I've seen. They looked so happy to be together. Then I remembered when we all first came to the tower. How he stared at her and she stared at him. I remembered when we fixed up the tower, they worked together the entire time. I remembered her smile, it was the best one I had ever seen on her face. Then I knew, we are all continuing our parents lives. I knew that whatever I felt, I should take action and leap. I knew I shouldn't try to live like my mother, but give her the jump, the one thing that could make things better or worse. I could help her not regret all her choices in life. I raced to put the bodies into the tower hospital. I began to force myself to heal them no matter what. I sensed things different from normal humans in all of them. Beast Boy had oddly flexible bones and had more abilities. Cyborg was, well, a cyborg. Starfall was pretty close, except for the strength, starbolts, and flight. But Robin. I thought he was human. He looks like it, but his body had extreme regenerative process. He could regenerate a hand if cut. He was part alien. I couldn't heal them for they weren't hurt or sick. It must be a mental problem! I thought to myself. I then went into their crazy minds to figure out what's going on with them.Hey, so I am writing an episode for a show I watch so I may not update. There are more chapters, I pwomise. I am having difficulties drawing Robin. And I will post later on more art even if I am done with this book. I hope you are enjoying my book, feel free to comment. I respond to the majority of the comments and questions. Try Deamons and my Sailor Moon books if you're interested. Stay weird my crazy friends!
