It's 6:00 am and today's finally the day I'm taking Ari to see Jason, after listening to everybody's opinion about it I know Ari needs to know her father. I still don't trust him, but at the end of the day, Ari is his daughter and his responsibility, not mine. She's my sister, not my kid which means there's a limit to everything I can provide for her. I do a quick hour and a half workout in Diamond's complex gym before going back upstairs so I can get ready. I get my hygiene and hair out of the way and throw on some underwear before I get Ari dressed in a black onesie that said 'Diva' with a pink bow, some black and white stripped leggings with her little pink, white and black Jordan booties.

After she's situated, I lay her on the bed surrounded by pillows and her favorite toys to keep her occupied while I get dressed. Diamond walks out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel wrapped around her perfectly shaped form, like a perfectly wrapped gift waiting to be unraveled. I scan her body in appreciation as she searches for an outfit, like she won't look good in whatever she puts on, baby girl could rock a garbage bag if she wanted and still look runway worthy. I bite my lip and walk behind her putting my hands on her waist making her laugh and shake her head.

"Dre move I gotta find something to wear" I laugh and pull her back so I'm hugging her from behind.

"I'm not doing anything just holding you I can't do that now?" I don't know what's taking me so long to make it official with Diamond although we practically act like we're together anyway. She's the epitome of wife material, she cooks, keeps her shit clean, she even takes care of Ari like that's her sister. Not to mention she's fine as hell, sweet, funny, lit, and always down for me, just as much Lay is, or was I guess now. I'm not blind and Diamond and I have talked so I know she's waiting for me, I don't know what was taking me so long, but it's like every time I try something stops me and the words don't come out.

I know she won't wait forever, and I have no doubt she has plenty of other options. I just don't want to lose her too.

"No, you can't cause you know what happens every time we're close like this, and we don't have time for that. Jason lives over an hour away and its already going on 9:00 o'clock". Despite her words she turns around in my arms in loops her arms around my neck. I smack my lips at her weak excuse, I could give a fuck about Jason, I'm not in a rush do this shit. I'm only doing it for Ari anyway. I lift Diamond up in my arms making her laugh and squeal as I go toward the bed.

"Babe put me down" I laugh and comply by tossing her on the making her laughter fill the room, she has such a pretty smile. I straddle her thighs so she couldn't get up and she playfully rolls her eyes while settling her hands on my hip. I kiss all over her face trying to get her to laugh again I loved hearing Diamond laugh it was cute damn near like a little kid before she does something I don't expect. She thrust her hips making me gasp while she her smile turns into her mischievous smirk; I bite my lip while her grip tightens, and she pulls me down so the only thing separating us is our clothing.

My phone starts to go off and we look simultaneously to see a notification from Instagram and snapchat. There are messages from old hoes I used to fuck, even before Lay, so I don't know why they suddenly want to come up now but judging by the sudden serious look on her face, she's not particularly thrilled about seeing that. I can't blame her, but I also didn't think she like me this much. So, I sat up pulling her with me, so she was in my lap.

"What's wrong?" she shakes her head, but her frown doesn't change, so I rub the crease between her brows grabbing her attention once again.

"Talk to me Diamond what is it?" she sighs and shrugs and takes a second before she speaks as if she's contemplating what to say.
