Ember's POVIacon. Home of Optimus Prime, and where our new base of operations is. My team, the elite guard, is now fully functional, and led by Ultra Magnus. Ultra Magnus has been one of my favorites since the beginning of training. Very by the book, thanks to me, the rules, and Optimus. Magnus reaches to my upper neck cables when at full height now, and the upper chassis of Optimus, which is kind of funny. He is fully healed from the attack, and is the best soldier I could ask for. Ratchet, being, of course, Ratchet, cracks jokes about our heights all the time, since I am one of the tallest bots on site, and a femme, and Ultra Magnus used to be tiny. Ratchet is an official field medic now, and very proud of his new title. He's very accomplished in his craft, and very well known, for both his skill, and his upbeat attitude.
The war has been going on for about 3 million solar cycles so far, showing no signs of stopping. We have had minimal casualties, but still, friends have fallen.

"Optimus, our scouts have reported visuals of a seeker army preparing to attack Stanix. Stealth team 27 and Warrior team 106 are there, but I think it wise to send back up. May I suggest you send the elite guard?"
"I agree Ember, but I don't think that we should send the elite guard just yet. Send Warrior team 73." Optimus said, listening to my recommendation before giving me his input. Oh well. At least he listens... sometimes.
"Yes sir! Anything else I can do?" I asked, saluting to him as well, with a small smile on my faceplate.
"No, that will be all, Ember. Thank you." He said, nodding his helm, and being the same respectful bot I always knew, but smiling a little as well. I knew he didn't really like it when I called him sir, but whenever I did, it helped us keep in character. We were friends, but this was war, and the soldiers need a leader, not a bit-brained afterburner.
I walked towards the warrior sector. They took up about one fourth of the soldiers on our side, so they got their own sector on base. I walked down the path through the pavilion looking for building 73. Once I got there, news had already spread that I was in the warrior zone. I only ever came here for battle reasons, so every bot was looking carefully at me to see where I stopped.
"Railspike. Get your team ready. You're going on a mission. To Stanix. Don't forget to pack your missiles, you might need them." I said, once I walked in and saw him.
"Yes ma'am, although, I'm pretty sure you know how I feel about missiles. Anything I need to know?" Railspike asked, standing at attention, but still failing at hiding his smirk. We clasped forearms, and I smacked his back in a friendly gesture.
"Army of seekers outside the gates, ready to blow it to smithereens. Don't get blown up down there, some of us actually enjoy your company." I told him, smiling a little. He was a rather fun bot to hang out with, but could get slightly annoying at times. He was like a younger brother to me.
"Yes ma'am. See you on the other side." He said, laughing and standing at ease. I walked out, with him at my side, and we went our separate ways.

"Railspike, do you copy? Railspike? Do you need backup? RAILSPIKE!?" I shouted into the comm link. I was worried. We had lost communications about a cycle ago, and Railspike always responded to my comms. Always.
"All Autobots. We have lost Stanix. I repeat. Stanix is down. Sending scout team 64 to last known locations of stealth team 27, and warrior teams 103 and 73." I heard Optimus say over the comms. I realized what this meant. Railspike wasn't coming back. I doubted that anyone was.
