Nope. Definitely not that way.

A/N autobot torture ahead. Sorry.

As soon as I got to the meeting room, I noticed how empty I was. It was only Optimus and me. As I was walking in, I saw a scout arrive as well, looking kind of nervous. The scout was pretty young, but also looked mature, like he was ready for anything. I walked up to Optimus, and waited for the scout. Once he got to us, Optimus started speaking.

"Bumblebee, you and Ember Flux are both going on a highly secret mission, to Tyger Pax. We've heard rumors of Megatron preparing to invade. You two are to go and find out when he plans to attack." He told us, calmly.

"Yes sir." We both said at the same time. We looked at each other, and smiled. Yep, we'd get along just fine. We both transformed, and started our drive.

"So, Ember, when did you join the Autobots?" Bumblebee asked me, trying to start a conversation for the long drive to Tyger Pax.

"I've been here since the beginning. I helped build the Autobots up, in fact, I was there when Megatron first started this whole thing." I said.

"Wow. So, how long have you known Optimus, then?" Bee asked. I laughed, genuinely amused.

"Ever since he was a clerk at Iacon as Orion Pax. Actually, I'm a few vorns older than him. Met him on his second day." I replied. Bee whistled.

Yes. I'm older than Optimus Prime. Deal with it.

"Was not expecting that. So, you saw him as Orion Pax? Was he as big as he is now? I mean, not that big, but was he, you know, bigger than normal?" Bumblebee asked, slightly embarrassed at his choice of words.

"No. In fact, I was bigger than him, before he became a Prime. He was like a younger brother. Then he became a Prime, and got all serious. He's still the same Orion Pax, though. Just, well, mature. You know?" I answered honestly. Sure, he got bigger, his voice got deeper, and he pretty much lost his sense of humor, but he hadn't changed his personality. If I tried hard enough, I could still get him to laugh. Although, it was more of a slight hiccup. A deep hiccup. From the back of his throat. Once. Then he went back to his tiny smile. His smile was cute though. Kind of like the smile you got from a sibling sparkling that got caught with his servo in the oil vat. Cute, troublemaker, sibling smile. Other bots thought of it as a Prime smile. The smile you'd get from someone smiling out of pity, not humor. I've known him too long to mess up those smiles though. Besides, he smiled like that when I actually did catch him with his servo in the oil vat.

I took the blame for that one. Thanks Optimus.

"Well, at least he had a sense of humor. It'd be scary if he didn't." Bumblebee laughed. I agreed, and we keep driving.

"-en I just drove off, leaving him for the others to find. Funny right?" Bee finished him story. I laughed and was about to agree, when I saw movement up ahead.

"Bee, down! Building at three o'clock! Hide!" I whispered, heading over as quietly as I could. He followed me, snapping out of his happy mood almost immediately. We rolled over to the building and transformed. Bee looked over the side of the wall to look at what it was that was out there.

"I don't see anything Ember. Come on, let's go check it out." He whispered to me, looking over his shoulder.

"You stay here. If there is someone out there, we should only let one of us be seen. I'll go see if there is anyone out there. Stay put. I'll be right back." I told him quietly. If nobody is out there, it'll be super embarrassing.

I headed out of our hiding spot, turning my head discreetly to make sure that Bee was still hiding. His head was peeked out slightly, watching, but he wasn't moving. I kept walking forward until I reached the spot where I last saw movement, not noticing that Bee couldn't see me anymore. I searched around but came up with nothing. I went to hit my comm link so that I could tell Bee that there wasn't anyone here, but was swung around. They grabbed my wrists, and held me up. It was Shockwave.

Bumblebee's POV

Ember had just turned the corner when I decided to follow her. I crept up to the wall when I heard scuffling. I slowly turned my head to see around the wall, and what I saw stopped me in my tracks. Ember Flux was fighting Shockwave. The Shockwave. The mad doctor who performed experiments and such on us autobots.
She was held by her wrists, but twisted around and slammed a pede into his cabulen, making him let go of her. She ran at him and jumped up, kicking him in his upper chassis. She did a back flip, landing on both pedes. She flicked out her servo blades and ran at him.

Her blades were beautiful. They came from her wrists, replacing her servos, with sharp 3 foot blades. They had golden lines of light on them, making them glow brightly, reflecting on the ground. They lit up the whole area, and were proving very effective against Shockwave.

She swung one of her blades up, while stabbing with the other, clipping his one eye, chipping the protective shield around it. Shockwave held his eye with one hand, and started up his  canon, firing at her randomly. Ember dodged out of the way faster than he could fire. She zigzagged up to him, before slicing both servos horizontally. She got him, slicing two perfectly straight lines across his chassis. He stumbled back, muttering something about her defying some kind of fight style logic, when two foot soldiers landed behind her, grabbing her arms. She struggled, but Shockwave recovered quickly, and shot her in both legs. She crumpled immediately, and the foot soldiers dropped her. Shockwave commed someone, saying something about a prisoner being brought back, and a lab. I was about to jump out and help her, when she looked my way. She commed me "run", quietly, right before Shockwave grabbed her helm with his servo, a ground bridge opening up, and dragging her in. I jumped up to try and get to it, but felt a servo clamp down on my shoulder pad.

"Oh no, dear scout. You're staying here." The bot said. I had only heard that voice once, and it wasn't a pleasant experience. I turned around, and glared at Megatron.

"You will tell me what I want to know. Or, deal with the consequences." He said, gripping harder as he glared into my faceplate.

"Where is the autobot base? What are the autobot decryption codes?" He asked, bringing his faceplate closer to mine, as he slowly jabbed his digits into my shoulder pads, almost drawing Energon.

"Speak, Autobot. Tell me the decryption codes!" He yelled, as he turned one of his servos into a blade, and dragged it over my chassis. He stabbed it into my elbow, and pulled down, separating my lower arm from my servo. I screamed in pain, but immediately tried to stop, not wanting him to see my pain. He dropped me onto the ground, covered in my own energon and started his cannon. He shot me in the same shoulder, making me lose the other half of my arm, then put his foot on my chassis.

"WHAT ARE THE DECRIPTION CODES?! TELL ME AUTOBOT!" He shouted, as he put more pressure on my chassis, cracking it. I refused to say anything, not willing to betray the Autobots.

"I am getting impatient, scout. Tell me what it is I wish to know before I shatter your spark." Megatron said, picking me up and throwing me next to my previously separated appendige.

"Well, if you won't say anything, then I guess you should just stay incapable of doing so." He said, smirking.

"Reformat yourself with a lug wrench, Megatron." I coughed, struggling to stay online. I turned on my comm link, wanting them to know that I was in trouble. He growled at me and slammed his servo into my neck cables, grabbed something them pulled it out. My optics immediately started to shut down, but I could still see what he held in his servo. It was my voice box.

"Stay mute, scout." He said, as he crushed it. He then aimed his cannon again, and fired, right at my chassis. I flew into a pillar, and landed awkwardly on the ground.

"Soundwave. Lock on to my coordinates. I require a ground bridge." Megatron ordered as he turned around. He started walking away, and a ground bridge appeared in front of him. My optics started to dim as he walked. He turned around, and smiled sadistically.

"Enjoy your final moments scout, since they will be much more peaceful then those of that commanding femme you came here with." And he disappeared, along with the ground bridge.
