It had been just about a deca-cycle since Orion had left, and I was in fact, starting to get slightly worried. Orion was very punctual, and always tried to finish things as quickly, and as well as possible, but this was getting ridiculous. I wanted my friend back, and the Autobots needed their real leader. I knew that if they saw him, it would definitely boost moral, and stop Ratchet from moping. He was getting antsy, and was actually starting to come up with pranks for Megatron, he was so bored. I knew that the Matrix of Leadership would take a long time for Orion to find, but a month was really pushing it. Megatron won't hold back forever, and neither will his Decepticons.

Ratchet and I had set up rotations with some of the braver Autobots. We would take shifts patrolling the streets to try and find any signs of either Decepticons, or Orion, and I was currently on my shift.

At first, I was just driving down a deserted road, on guard and watching the streets, when, of course, I heard something. I hadn't heard this sound in a while though. His voice box had been upgraded during his time away, but I could still tell who it was.

"What are you doing? Why are you harming an innocent being?" I heard Orion ask. I immediately sped up, knowing what was happening. Somebot had gotten unlucky. Orion must have driven by, and stopped to help.

"Y- you're ba-back? H-he said you we-weren't coming back!" I heard another bot shout. I turned the corner then, and was shocked by what I saw. A massive bot, bigger than me even, with the same paint job as Orion Pax, standing in front of two bots, one with blades drawn, holding the other, that was already leaking energon profusely. The giant red and blue bot had a single blade drawn, and was standing in a hesitant offensive stance. It was a bad offensive stance, but it did the trick. He was Orion, that much I could tell, but he was massive, and kind of different. The one bot, holding the small male Autobot transformed and drove away as soon as he saw me coming towards him, dropping the Autobot in the process. Orion ran forward and caught the injured bot before they fell to the ground, and lowered them gently. I drove to the two, and transformed.

"Hey, Ratchet, I've got an attack survivor. Could you prepare the bay?" I said into my comm link.

"Sure. When are you coming in?" I heard him reply.

"Soon. I have a surprise for you too. I'll tell you when I get back. Thanks, Doc."

"No problem. See you soon, Flux. Don't go blowing anything up, now. That would be a great surprise, but I would prefer if I could still walk on this boring hunk of metal." He said, chuckling at me.

I walked up to the two bots, but once I got close, Orion stood up and drew his sword.

"Whoa there, Mr. Hostile! Friendly! Friendly! Do you not recognize your best friend?" I shouted, jumping back.

"Ember? I apologize." He said, withdrawing his sword, and relaxing. "I was on edge. I only just returned from my voyage. What are you doing here? We aren't near your chambers, or Iacon."

"Orion, things have changed. Come on. We should get the mech back to the med bay at base. We'll talk on the way there."

"Alright. Let us leave." He said, picking up the unconcious mech.

We finally got to base, and Orio- sorry, Optimus, still getting used to that, is completely filled in on what has happened in the past few months. I have a team now. We don't have an official name yet. They just call us Team Flux, which I'm okay with, but it's kind of weird. There are six bots on my team, not including me. The bot that Optimus and I saved from the alley joined my team. His name is Ultra Magnus. Which is funny, since he's not the biggest bot in the group. He is dedicated though, and that is something I respect. His injuries have been completely repaired, and apparently, he isn't done upgrading yet, so in a few vorns, he could very well be the size of Optimus.

"Ratchet, how are things at the bay? Keeping it clean I hope?" I commed him, just for the fun of it.

"She's not got a single speck of rust in her. Why do you a-
Oh, hello supreme commander of paint cans, what can I do for you today?" He answered, but started talking to someone else.

"What do you mean, supreme comman-"

"AHHH! WHAT EVEN IS THIS?! RATCHET!! YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR SPARK PLUG WITH BOTH OPTICS! GAH!" Someone yelled from his side of the line. I laughed, wondering who got pranked this time, and not even caring about being interrupted.

I kept walking, heading back to the main hall. I wanted to tell Optimus my new plan to move the base to Iacon. It was hopefully a good plan, and we'd be able to have many more Autobots stay with us, in the base. We'd also have more room for training, which would help emmensely, considering none of us were really programmed or pretrained for combat. Only the bots who had jobs with the government or in security had any type of formal training at all, which was beginning to cause problems. Big ones, thanks to the fact that a war was about to start. And this was probably going to be the biggest war yet.
