Chapter 4

Ilang gabi akong hindi nakatulog because of what he said. Buong weekend akong tulala sa kwarto. I really don't get him. I also don't know if I should trust him. He said he's serious though. Umiling ako tsaka naghilamos ng mukha ko.

I look into mirror and i saw a stranger. She's looking back at me. I could see the longing and sadness in her eyes.

Pinunasan ko nalang yung mukha ko tsaka nagbuntong hininga. It's monday again. It will be a long tiring day again but what's the difference though. It's been always like that.

After preparing myself for school. Dali dali na akong bumaba. Pagbaba ng hagdan nadatnan ko sila manang na nag aayos. Maingay din ang paligid because of those unknown people here in our house right now. There are also some people who's coming back and forth sa likod ng bahay where our swimming pool and garden is headed.

"What's with the commotion manang?" Tanong ko sa maid naming nagmamadali pabalik balik ng kusina.

"Mag paparty daw po daddy niyo. Ang balita ko po may malaki po kayong investors na inaasahan para sa partnership ng company niyo po at may aannounce daw pong importante ang daddy niyo" paliwanag sakin ni manang. Tumango nalang ako sa kanya at sinabihan siyang bumalik na sa trabaho niya.

Pumunta ako sa likod ng bahay para silipin yung preparation nila. I saw mom there talking to the organizer maybe. I could see her explaining and pointing places.

Ngumiti siya sakin nung mapansin niya ako. I timidly smiled and started to walk away when she called me

"Eam" simple niyang wika habang nakasunod sa likod ko. Tumigil ako tsaka hinarap siya.

"What is it mom?"  Pasimpleng tanong ko.

"Have you seen the red box on your bed?" Red box? Ah okay that thing beside my bed after ko maligo. Did she put it there habang naliligo ako? I didn't mind it kasi. "That's your dress. I want you to wear those later. It's a big night so make sure to come. I've already got you a make-up artist so be here at 7pm" Nakangiting paliwanag niya sakin. I will be interacting to people I don't know and like again. Hays. Di na bago to samin. We usually conduct a party here in the house kapag may important matters sila. Sometimes are just to satisfy their business partners or to get new investors. Expanding the business are the most important thing for them. They couldn't even look after our well being.

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako sa ngumiti sa kanya. I don't know why I had this feeling of anger towards her. Maybe this is what longing feels like after years of not getting a proper love from your parents.

Nagpalam na ako sa kanya. I don't like talking to her. She's so exhausting and looks so plastic. Don't get me wrong. She never treats me like her children so I also don't recognize her as my mother.

I'm preparing my car to leave the house nung biglang may humarang sa drive way. I angrily push the horn of my car to signal the car owner to not block the drive way but I've been doing it for 5 minutes pero di parin siya umalis.

Bumaba ako ng kotse ko at pasalampak na sinarado yung pinto to approach this scum.

I knocked the car's window. Dahan dahan niyang binaba yung bintana ng kotse niya and to my surprise it's tyler. Tinignan niya ako at dahan dahang tinanggal yung shade niya.

Naiinis ko siyang pinangmulatan ng mata "What the fuck is your problem?" Naiinis kong tanong sa kanya.

"I'm fetching you" he simple said with his cold voice. Him and his voice is a real definition of irritation.

Naiinis akong nag walk out tsaka sumakay sa kotse ko. There's no fucking way na sasakay ako sa kanya papunta sa school. Don't get me wrong, I don't care about any issues, I just don't want to give him advantages to enter my life. I don't know his intentions. He cited playing a game with me before saying that his pursuing me.
