Damn it. I grabbed the knife out of my pocket and waved it in front of Hanna's face once again. The pain and fear sweeping through their expressions was the most entertaining live reality show money could buy. Only it wasn't money they were paying me with. It was blood. They owed me blood. All the years of suffering I endured just because of them. Because of ALL of them. Not just the four girls, but all the rest too. All thinking and knowing they would always be worth more than poor me. But I am poor no more. Because I have the cards. I own the odds. And the odds couldn't have been more in my favour.

I turned to look at the boys. Standing there knowing they couldn't prevent me. I was the boss. I always win. They know that now. They were completely helpless. And the look on Caleb's face! Ha. He's such a boy. Who? Who wouldn't do anything when he knows Hanna was going to pay tonight. I WARNED HIM! OUTRIGHT! Yet he is still such a child and will never be able to stand up to me.

They are all children. Living trough their lies, brushing off their meaningless treasures. Obviously they understand nothing.

I waved the blade in front of Caleb's nose, then quickly turned around and plunged the tip into Hanna's chest. No squeal of pain. Her payment was due, and I was taking it. I had lived in her shadow far too long. And while I did her dues and made all of them love and trust me, I was never as good as the rest of them. Shunned to the other side of those rough seas separating us. But now I was on the side they wanted to be. The winning side. Because I was winning.

I grinned at her as her body dropped and pulsates convulsively. Her breathing slowly became heavier. Yet she was still conscious, those beady Wes staring in confusion at my face. That expression looked familiar. It was almost as though she saw Mona again. The betrayal of her best friend happening right before her eyes.

I washed my hands and smiled at them all. A cheesy grin, and walked out the rear exit through the parking lot directly to my car. I turned the key, sat down and found the glowing device that empowered my entire being. And I typed. The glowing smartphone illuminating the brilliant grin spread over my face. If only Alison could see me now. How proud she'd be.

"Ding dong the bitch is dead. Or should I say - Hefty Hanna is finally drowning in a pool of her own lies.

I was never the weakest link. Xx --Em
