As we drove away I put my phone back in my bag thinking about what I'd just read. I kept repeating in my head "Tonight A is nothing. Tonight A is nothing." Didn't help much though...
"Are you I'm Hanna?" Caleb asked. Always so caring, always wanting me to be happy. That was my Caleb.
"What, yeah of course. Why?" I said, trying to sound cheerful.
"You zoned out... We are at the restaurant now. You didn't even notice, you goose."
"I knew that! I was just waiting for you to kiss me." I said with a cheeky grin.
"Well that's alright then" Caleb said as he leaned forward and kissed me softy. Then, he got out of the car and walked over to my side.
As I looked out the front windshield of the car, I saw a black hooded figure standing on the side of the road. Right there. They didn't even feel the need to hide anymore! I could tell they were watching me. They could see everything... But tonight I didn't care. Caleb opened the door and I quickly turned to face him. I couldn't let him see A standing there.
We walked inside the restaurant and our table had been taken since I had taken so long to get ready. No matter, I'd wanted to look just right. While waiting to be seated, I took a risk that could change my life in order to have one perfect night.
"Dear A, just drop it will you! I'm sick and tired of your games! This is my night, and you won't be ruining it! Love and kisses, Hanna"
