"Erin"

Erin wiped at his brow, tucking his blonde hair behind his ears. Adrian was behind him, peering over his shoulder at the patient. It was one of his servant's who been attacked by what appeared to be a Fire Dweller. A message had been scorched into her flesh and her moans and whimpers were the only sounds that filled the spare bedroom in the mansion.

"Will she live?" Adrian asked his voice slipping to show his concern and Erin nodded. He was exhausted but they'd arrived just in time to prevent it from becoming exceptionally serious.

"Yes, though there may be some scaring but not enough to severely damage the tissue." Erin tucked his herbs and salves back into his pouch, his eyes lingering over the older woman's frail body. "She's going to need bed rest for several days and has to keep applying the ointment I've given her. I'll make up some special herbal teas for her to drink. Other than that, her burns will naturally heal on their own time." He went to the door, Adrian following him and he eyed the other servant in the room. She was the woman's daughter and her face was pale but her posture was firm.

"Do you understand?" Adrian asked his tone formal and the girl nodded.

"Yes, Master Lyson, I do." He nodded his head and followed Erin from the room. Out in the hall Erin halted. It was always so exhausting taking care of patients. He turned back towards Adrian who was already walking down the hall. Erin followed after him until they'd reached the larger hall. A moment later Adrian turned back to face him.

"Are you sure it was a Fire Dweller?" Adrian asked and Erin narrowed his eyes at him.

"Yes, I'm sure but we have to move quickly, otherwise he'll become a Hollow." Erin sighed and rubbed his temples. "Tidus will not be pleased to hear this." He murmured and Adrian snorted.

"His discomfort is the least of our problems. If a Fire Dweller is on Earth and has signs of becoming a Hollow, then his next objective will be to find our Dominus. We cannot let that happen." Adrian shifted on his feet and Erin watched with interest the different torrent of emotions cross his face.

"The message he left on the woman's arm indicates something else," Erin pointed out and looked over his shoulder back towards the room. "He's going after the city," he whispered as dread filled him.

"Let's just find our Dominus first," Adrian snapped and turned sharply. Erin stared at the distant door before turning and following after Adrian, the words that had been burned into the woman's arms flashing before his eyes.

It's all going to burn...
