A couple months have passed, and before you know it Fall was about. Then came Winter. The Champions chosen for the Tri-Wizard Tournaments were Viktor Krum, Fleur Delacour, and Cedric Diggory. As I had anticipated. Classes went by regularly, I kept close with the people I was in favor with. People like Blaise, to Viktor. (Manon, Harry, and Neville were the only others nobody knew about.) Harry and I kept our relationship quiet. I was the slightest bit open with my relationship with Manon, and Neville. I never picked on them when my other friends would.
The tournaments were going by wonderfully. Viktor actually one the dragon challenge, not too long ago. Which was absolutely amazing. He did get irritating whenever he would talk about that Granger girl. He was so infatuated with her, it made me want to puke. Though, at the same time I was also happy he was happy. He had confirmed to me that he would take her to the Ball this month.
Draco still wouldn't tell me what he was hiding. Even though he tried to convince me that he wasn't, I never gave up on the fact I knew he was. Blaise cracked on the topic once in conversation. Only, I had gotten him drunk, but he caught himself before anything else was able to be said. His first few words were 'A new generation of.' It stuck in my mind like a splinter. The possibilities were endless with what this 'generation' could be.
Dolores Umbridge was a new teacher. Nobody was fond of her, other than the Slytherins, and some other people just as coldhearted. In my case, I didn't like her one bit. Her form of punishment, the using of the Blood Quill, was absolutely horrendous. Even for me. (Then again, I was somewhat softer than my housemates.)
Some bustle about a girl named Katie Bell arose sometime ago. She had been cursed from a necklace, and immediately the blame had been turned to Draco. I was offended someone was so keen on the idea he was the one to do it. When I found out it had been Harry who pointed the finger, I stopped talking to him for awhile. It happened about a week or two ago, and to this day I was annoyed with him.
Shrugging off my faux fur coat, sighed, rubbing my hands together. It was a very cold, winter Saturday. More than half the students in school were off to Hogsmade. Dress shopping for the Yule Ball. I would be attending it with Blaise, whom I was going with as a friend. Nobody seemed to get that through their heads. Now they made assumptions that he and I were an item. Much to Draco's, and Marcus' dismay.
"Ellie." Harry's voice rang in my ear. He had given me that nickname one night when we were both hanging out in the Room of Requirements. That's where we would spend most of our time together. His excuse for such a name was that because no one else would ever think of calling my that. I didn't tell him, but secretly I loved it.
"What do you want Potter?" I sneered as I slapped on my gloves that I remembered where in the pockets. This was the first time I replied to him at his many attempts to get me to talk.
"I'm sorry okay?" Harry simply told me, with an apologetic look on his face. Trying to hold my angry facade, I shook my head. "Please?" He jutted his lower lip out, and batted his eyes. Pursing my lips, I rolled my eyes. It wasn't fair, Harry knew I could never resist when he did that to me.
"You're so unfair." I scoffed disbelieving he was evil enough to conjure that plan. His award winning smile replaced his face as he wraps his arms around my shoulders. Shaking me a bit, we start walking towards where the Room of Requirements was. "Have you decided on whom to take for the Ball?" I asked him.
"Well she's already taken." He upsettingly replies, dropping down one arm, leaving the other draped over my shoulder. He was lucky I knew mo one was around. Honestly, I didn't mind his arm being there. No jealousy struck through me when he said what he did. I knew he was talking about me. Harry was surprisingly open about saying he wanted me to be his date for the Ball.

Fanfiction"I'm afraid that if I say friends you'll hit me." Harry joked after a moment of thinking it over. I let out a small, amused chuckle when he said that. Punching his shoulder lightly, he pretends that I hit him really hard. "Ow! You see what I mean?"...
