Chapter 2

Sly's Pov: 

"Hello? Oh my god, Jess is that you? This isn't Steven tricking me is it?" I asked hesitantly. 

"What? No, it's really me, Jess." The voice from the amulet said. "Did you lose your hearing or something while I was gone?"

"Jeez, watch your mouth Sassmau." I spoke into the amulet.

"Who are you calling Sassmau" The amulet said back, sass evident in their voice.

"Oh my god! It really is you Jess!' I said excitedly.

Aphmaus Pov:

"Who are you calling Sassmau." I said to Sly. At this point i feel as though door will soon burst open so I need to be quick. 

"Oh my god! It really is you Jess!" Sly said excitedly. "Where are you Jess?"

"I'm in a village called Phoenix drop and i'm currently the lord of the village. I have to go, my guards are going to end up bursting open my door if I don't answer it soon. Meet me in the forest behind the purple house." I whispered gently.

"Okay, i'll be there soon." He whispered back softly.

I turned the amulet off and packed my memory crystals and some extra clothes, then I proceeded to jumped out my window with a loud thump.

Laurence's Pov:
"Stand back." I told Garroth and Dante as I backed up. When they finally moved I ran at the door and kicked it down. "Shes not here."

Suddenly I felt a breeze come from the window, only to see that it was open. I leaned out over the window sill and caught a glimpse of Jess running into the forest with her backpack.

"Looks guys." I said pointing to the running figure of Jess. "Lets go after her."

We jumped out the window and followed her silently into the woods.

Aphmau's Pov:
I ran and sat down next to a lake in the forest and started to sing another song. It was the one my dad use to sing to me when I was a child.

Wow, I was a really bad writer. Holy lord, anyway, i'm not going to change anything with the songs because I don't really have the patience to get rid of every single one. Hopefully this is easier to read now.
