I wake up and glance around. I'm in my bed, and his arms are wrapped around me tightly like I might float away if he lets go.

I smile and shut my eyes again.

"Are you awake?" Jack asks, his voice causing chills to run down my spine.

"Yeah." I squeak.

We just stay in the same position in silence.

Honestly, I would be lying if I said I wasn't confused. I thought Jack was straight. If he is and he kissed me just for fun last night then yeah, I'm gonna be pissed.

As I'm opening my mouth to ask him about it my phone goes off.

"Sorry." I whisper slipping out of his arms as he groans.

He's so adorable.

"Hello?" I say quietly into my phone.

"JJ where the fuck are you?" Dillon's voice booms.

"Non of you're fucking business." My voice rises a bit.

"It is my business because you just made out with your so called best friend at a party last night you came to with me!" He yells.

"Dillon just leave me alone." My voice goes back down as tears start to form.

Dillon starts to say something but my phone is taken from my hand.

"Listen here Dillon, JJ said leave him alone so leave him the fuck alone. If you don't you will have to deal with me. And trust me, when I'm pissed you don't want to be near me. Got it?" Jack seethes.

I've never seen him so mad. And it's so fucking hot.

"Fine. Take the fucking tranny he isn't even any good. Good luck getting in his pants." I hear Dillon say.

"Don't fucking call him that you asshole." Jack says before the line goes dead.

I can't help but feel hurt. As confident as I am there's always times when I feel ugly and insecure.

Jack looks at me and pulls me down back on the bed with him.

"You don't think of me like that right?" I ask.

"Of course not." Jack holds me tighter.

We sit for a while not speaking.

"I thought you were straight." I break the silence.

"Everyone did." He chuckles.

"So then are you bi?"

"No, I'm gay." He breaths out.

That wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Sure it was difficult but not like I made to be in my head.

"Why didn't you tell me before?" JJ asks looking up at me.

"Well I, I was trying to just kind of accept myself I guess. And well I thought there was no point in coming out if I couldn't have you." I watch him carefully.

He hits my shoulder.

"Ow." I yelp.

"If had come out sooner then we wouldn't have this issue." He scolds. "God you really are oblivious sometimes, I was obsessed (shoutout ShhImANutellaJar ) with you." He adds.

"So then, where does all of this leave us." I ask.

He gets a thoughtful look for a little before smirking.

"We're still best friends. I'm not just gonna throw myself at you. You have to put in the work." He says smirking.

"Then that's what I'll do." I smile.

"I'm bored." JJ says, dragging out the o.

"Then what do you want to do." I look at him expectantly.

"Let's go.... Get ice cream!" He smiles widely.

I smile back and grab my keys and slip on some vans.

"Piggy back ride." JJ jumps onto my back.

He giggles as we walk to the car. Well I walk.

*skip the drive*

"Oh tomorrow we should go the fair, it'll be really fun." JJ says while eating his vanilla ice cream.

"Okay. Sounds good to me." I watch him lick the ice cream that runs down his hand.

No dirty thoughts. No dirty thoughts.

"By the way you're sleeping at my house tonight again." He adds.

I nod.

Damn. Nothing really has changed between us. It's a bit disappointing but I'm willing to put in the work to get him to be mine.

"I'm driving." JJ takes my keys after we finish our ice cream and wash our hands.

"What do you think about this?" JJ twirls in his new outfit.

It's a pair of light denim high waisted shorts and a black t-shirt.

"I know it's basic, but I think I like it." He says looking in the mirror.

Oh I like it all right.

He hasn't worn stuff like this lately because of Dillon. He started to because it was getting hot out but yeah, we all know what happened.

"So?" He asks facing me again.

"Uh I, it's,"

"Ugh I knew it was stupid. I know I'm not a girl." He starts to go back into the bathroom to change.

"No!" I yell.

He turns around and looks at me confused.

I blush.

"I, I think you look beautiful." I put my head down and rub the back of my neck.

I then feel a pair of arms around my torso.

"Thank you." JJ says quietly.

Ugh. Sorry these are so short. Maybe I'll just do a lot of chapters and update more to make up for it yeah? But omg how cute are they am I right?!
