"JJ I'm fine, trust me." Jack chuckles.

"Sorry. I just want to make sure you're not in pain." I smile.

It's been like two days since Dillon was at my house and everything happened. He got community service and I got a restraining order against him so all should be good now.

He smiles back at me.

Our eyes lock and it's like, it's like time just slows down. It sounds like another cliché I know, but it's true.

I get the urge to kiss him in that moment. My eyes drift down to his lips and I connect our lips in a slow passionate kiss.

Our lips move together in perfect sync. They fit together like puzzles pieces, and I swear I could kiss this boy a million times and each time would feel like the very first.

We pull away reluctantly when we need air.

"Well, what happened to taking it slow." Jack teased.

"How do you always manage to ruin the moment?" I laugh.

He laughs as well and I lay next to him on his bed.

"But in all seriousness, will you go on a date with me?" He asks.

"Of course I will." I grin.

"Great." He sighs.

We sit in a comfortable silence for awhile until my phone rings. I look at the caller id and it's my mom.

"Yes mom?" I ask a bit annoyed.

"Come on home. Jeff is here." She says happily.

"Okay, I'm on my way." I smile.

I hang up.

"Where are you going?" Jacks asks sadly.

"Jeff is home apparently." I tell him grabbing my shoes and keys.

"Okay tell him I said hey." Jack says before I walk out his room.

"I've missed you baby bro." Jeff says.

"Yeah I missed you too." I smile.

"I'll call you down when dinner is ready." My mom says.

"Oh, I kinda forgot. Mom I have a date tonight." I tell her.

"Oh alright, don't be out too late." She smiles.

Jeff and I head upstairs to my room.

"So you're still with Dillon." Jeff says as I go to my closet to pick an outfit for the date.

I chuckle.

"No, I'm not."

"Oh, when did that happen?" He asks.
