Life of Ariel: ep 1

"Ariel!" Zach snapped his fingers in my face and I looked up from my phone
"What?" I asked. "Did you just hear a thing I said?" "No, what did you say?" He sighed and laughed "I said are you coming to the mall with me or not?"

"Yeah, just let me get ready"
"It's a lot of people so the guys aren't coming"
"Its fine, they can come"
"Oh okay cool. Ill call ray"

Zach ran in the kitchen and I went to his room to get my bag out his closet. I had stayed the night because I didn't wanna go to my hotel room yet. I got my bag and grabbed an outfit. I picked out high waisted ripped jeans and a tie dye shirt with some Nike shoes.

"Ariel come on!" Zach called from downstairs. "Coming" I yelled back. I put on the outfit and grabbed my brush before running downstairs to go to the mall

"Ready?" He asked
"Yup"

Zach's mom drove us to the mall and we met up with ray, rudan, Nick, Maddie and Ari. I ran to Ari and jumped on her wrapping my legs around her waist. She laughed and put me down

"Heavy ass" I laughed and said hi to everyone else.

"Do what store you guys wanna go to" rudan asked looking at his phone

"Lets just walk around and talk" Zach suggested. We all agreed and started walking in the opposite direction.

"So, how long you guys here" Maddie spoke up

"Umm, I think another week or so" I said

She nodded and we continued making small talk, laughing and joking. Of course Zach got hungry so we walked to the food court.

"I want Chinese food"
"Same" rudan agreed. Me and him walked to the Chinese food cart and ordered

"Soo, you and Zach??" He asked wiggling his eyebrows

"Nahh fam, we're friends" I laughed and so did he. We got our food and went back with the others who we're standing in line for pizza. Ari grabbed my arm and pulled me to chick fill A.

"What?" I asked. "You and Zach?" She laughed and I sighed, why can't a boy and girl be friends?! "No, we're friends Ari you know that" I said annoyed. "The way you guys we're laughing and looking at each other says something different. Plus I seen him looking at you every second he could" I rolled my eyes and walked to a empty table starting to eat my food.

"Can I sit?" Zach walked over to me. "I don't know, can you?" He laughed and sat down.
"What's wrong?" He asked with his mouth full of pizza. "They keep asking about me and you" His eyes widen and he almost choked on his pizza. "What?" He said swallowing his pizza. "Its annoying, why can't they believe we're just friends"

The others walked over and pulled up chairs.

"I see you two we're talking?" Maddie said. I groaned and put my head down. "Okay we will stop" she said holding her hands up in defense

"Promise to call me when you get there"
"Okay Zachary" I gave him a hug and me and Ari got in my mom's car. She drove us to the Harriet hotel and said she'd be back later so we had the whole hotel room to our self. I put my things down and my phone buzzed

Zack Clayton: heyy

Ariel the mermaid: dude, I just got here lol give me one sec

Zack Clayton: one

Ariel the mermaid: Zack

Zack Clayton: *zach*and okay fine. Text me later silly

I smiled and Ari noticed because she was smirking. "Talking to Zach huh?" I laughed and turned around knowing I was blushing. She screamed and ran around the room.

I posted a photo of me and everyone else then I posted one with Zach, I immediately got likes and comments.

'Are they dating'
'Why is she with him'
'She's so pretty'
'I ship it'
'Does anyone know if they are dating'

Knowing the hate was about to come I logged out of instagram. A couple minutes later Zach texted me

Zack Clayton: hey you okay??

Ariel the mermaid: what are you talking about

Zack Clayton: are you on instagram

Ariel the mermaid: no...

My curiosity got the best of me and I logged back on. I read only two comments and I broke down crying. Ari ran to me and grabbed my phone

"OMG how can you handle this hate, it's sick!"
