Hospital

"Ma'am who are you here to see?" The nurse at the desk asked. Me and Ari must've scared her by the tone in her voice

"Sharone k!"

"Um okay...she's in room 23"

I took off before she could say anything. For some reason room 23 is up on the second floor so me and Ari had to find the elevator. Ari was on the phone calling people and I was playing with my fingers. I usually do that when I get nervous or anxious

The elevator stopped and I ran out finding room 23 on the corner.

"MOM!?"

I busted in the room to see my mom laying on the hospital bed with tubes and wires hooked to her

"WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!" my voice was more deeper now

"Ariel stop all that cursing" my farther said

"Dad...how?"

"I-I didn't see the car Ariel..I'm sorry"

"THIS IS YOU'RE FAULT?!"

"Ariel.."

"GET OUT!"

He looked at me like I was crazy

"OUT"

he shook his head, got his things and walked out. The fact that he actually walked out made me even more mad.
you're supposed to be the man, but you leave you're wife when she needs you most?! I mean yeah I told him to get out but I'm like 6 why would he listen and just leave my mom like this

"Mom?"

No answer

"Mommy please don't go, please?"

Nothing

As I was looking at her I noticed she had tubes and wires hooked up to her.

My dad didn't.

She was in this bed

He's not

She can't even talk

He can

My question is, if this really was an accident...why is he the only one fine?
