"Yay, you're finally here!" Zach said all  sarcastic

"Hahaha, we live farther than you think"

"Yeah. Right, anyway let's go goobers!"

I laughed and started running towards the guys playing volleyball

"Hey" I said out of breath

"Hey" one said back

"Would you mind if we played"

"Nah, come on" he smiled and so did I

"Guys, come on"

They came running over and after we picked our teams we started playing Zach was across from me with the ball and he threw the ball above my head

"hey you cheater!"

"Cheating, and skills is two different things"

"Yeah" rudan chimed in

"Shut up and get the ball" Ari said laughing

We played a couple more rounds until Zach got hungry and everyone got tired

"I wanna swim" Nick whinned

"I wanna eat"

I swear Zach is ALWAYS hungry.

"Well, you can't eat then swim" I said

"Fuck the rules" Nick started running to a hot dog cart and we chased after him. Who sells hot dogs at the beach?

"Yas food" Zach said before eating the whole hot dog. Why the heck is he so skinny but eats a lot, like that's goals

"Alright let's go swim!"

I ran in the water and immediately got out

"C-cold"

Rudan, Nick and Zach smirked at each other and I knew I was about to die. I started running and Zach shouted 'get her' I must've been too slow because Zach caught me and threw me over his shoulder

"Put me down"

"You're so silly"

"Zach Quit it!"

"No"

"Put me down!"

"Okay.."

He jumped in the water with me over his shoulder. My body gently sank and I came back up coughing and out of breath, I knew it would freak Zach out so I pretended I couldn't breath

"I-i cant b-breath.."

"Oh my God Ariel!"

Zach pulled me up and carried me on the sand. Zach, Nick, Rudan, Ari and the others crowded around me

"I, cant- can't breath!"

"Ariel I'm so sorry, someone call 911!"

"I'll call!" Nick pulled out his phone and Ari and I started laughing. I sat up and looked at everyone's shocked faces

"Ariel chill, don't do that" Zach said grabbing his heart

The rest of the day was fun. We ran around, swam and played a couple games. It started getting dark and we all started to go home.

Ariel house

"Ari can you get my brush"

"Where is it?"

"Downstairs"

She groaned and walked out the room

Buzz buzz

Zack Clayton: hey mermaid

Ariel the mermaid: hey sak

Zack clayton: what's up?

Ariel the mermaid: nm I might go live soon. Idk

Zack Clayton: oh. I'm boredd can I come over?

Ariel the mermaid: Idk I have to ask my mom but maybe ;)

Zack Clayton: yay, OK text me later love you bye

Ariel the mermaid: love you too bub 💖

I put my phone down and smiled, Zach said he loved me...wait no, Ariel you can't like Zach. I don't like Zach.....do I?
