Diane grabbed the money she had kept in a jar under her bed over the past two years, which added up to $150. (I know lots of money for a girl her age...but she gets five dollars a week) She put the money in her backpack along with some clothes and a map. "This is the right thing to do," Diane whispered to herself, who looking for some paper to write a note.
She wrote down on the paper,
"Dear Daddy,
I am sorry but i cant take it. Maybe if i leave i can settle this myself, or maybe let this take me over. Oh well at least i can say i tried to fight it off. Dont bother looking for me you won't find me. I might be back, but if i dont come back that means i lost the battle with myself and Lucifer won. I love you daddy.
Love,
Diane"
Diane wrote as tears streamed down her face, she didn't want to leave everyone but she felt it was the only right thing to do at the time. She put her backpack on and walked over to the window and looked out, then looked over her shoulder. With one quick jump she landed on her hands and knees on the cold ground.
