Diane's POV
I have been running for about an hour now, I should probably stop for a rest I think to myself. I slow down to a walking speed and watch cars go by making my hair blow against my face. I wonder if dad is looking for me...or if he even notices I'm gone.
I looked around as I walked and of course "someone" started talking to me...Uuuuggghhh.
"Hey short stack, what's up?"
"Go away!"
"Why. I thought you loved our conversations?"
"....."
"Hey are you alright?" A different voice said. I looked around to see if it was a real voice. But when I looked around I was at a small gas station. When I found the voice I found a girl with dark brown hair and light blue eyes. She looked like a nice person, and definitely older than me. Maybe she could help me start a new life?
