I awoke with a start. Sitting up, I threw back my covers letting in the cool morning breeze. I peeled back my bangs from my sweaty eyes and let out a huge sigh. Again. I had the same nightmare again. The voices in my head told me it was real. But I didn't want to believe it. She couldn't of died that way. It's not true. Looking over to the clock near my roommate, I see it's nearly seven. Time to get up. Swinging my legs out, I make my way to the bathroom trying to get there before some other greedy shit stole the shower. Yes. I just swore. No judging guys. I like it. Locking the door, I slowly make my way over to the mirror unwilling to see the reflection. Nothing much has changed. I'm still pale. I'm still plain and boring. Dull blue eyes stare at me as I run my hand through my stringy greasy brown hair. Today needed to go well. More than any other day. This day was so important. Today, if everything worked out right I would be released. Three months is far too long. Three months no friends, no family, just me and this stupid institute. I shook my head fierce as tears pricked in my eyes. I shimmied out of my fluffy pyjamas and slippers. Avoiding looking at the mirror, I unhooked my black Lacey bra and slid down my cute bunny panties. I turned the shower on to begin to heat up. Wrapping my arms around my torso, I thought I heard shuffling from behind me, I spun round to find nothing but piles of clothes and a large wicker basket overflowing. Shrugging I climbed into the shower cubicle pulling the soft creamy cotton curtain around it. I stood for a minute just letting the hot water run down my back, whilst I massaged my neck. Uh.. I'm gonna murder the others. Nearly all of the shampoo and conditioner is gone. And no one had said anything. So yet again, I'm left with a few squirts after whacking the stupid bottles off of my hand. After rubbing my body down with my secret bubblegum scrub and sponge, I turn around letting the water run along my chest. All of a sudden I feel a hand grab me from behind. A hand covers my mouth...
I hurried back to my dingy, dark room. Only to find it empty and the clock reading 7.30. I missed breakfast. Nevermind, they won't notice. Walking into my shared closet, I dropped my towel and dragged on some underwear. Not matching of course. I can't stand having matching underwear on. Scanning through my shelf I decided to settle on a pale blue sundress and white flats. Couldn't very well wear black jeans and a band tee on a day like this. I pulled the towel from my head letting my damp hair flow down my back. I think I'll just let it air dry today. So I ran a brush through it, and set my parting straight. No makeup. No jewellery. I made my bed, tidied my floor and pulled back the curtains. I stared as the sun came streaming in, warming up my face and neck. I reached my hand in front of my face and let the light fall through my fingers. At which point I realised I'd lost my wristband stating my basic information which I'm required to wear at all times. I walked out of my room only to bump into someone.
"Oops, i'm so sorry!" I practically yelled at the tall handsome stranger.
"Don't sweat it baby, what's your name? Wait, where's your wristband?" He asked with a cocked eye and a smirk.
"I..i..i lost it. My names.."Hi guys, thanks for reading! So.. What should her name be? Let me know in the comments and I will pick:)
