"Okay Miss Flat, everything looks good to me. I just need you to answer these few questions and sign at the end." I looked up into the face of my care worker. I'm slightly shocked and very pleased at her words. I nod my head quickly taking the clipboard from her finely polished hand.
1). What is your name and date of birth?
Why are they asking me this? They have me on file and I'm leaving.
"Uh, excuse me Sarah? Are you sure this is the right questionnaire?" I ask. She looks at me like I'm asking the stupidest question ever.
"Of course, we are making sure your mind is in the right place and you remember who you are." Oh well that makes sense now. I return to the questions.
My names Sophie Flat and I am 16 years old. Born on the 9th of July.
It's a whole month until my birthday. And I'll be at home to celebrate it.
2). How long have you been here?
I've been here for exactly 3 months.

I stare at this question. Unable to think of what to say. What is my real reason for being here. I'll come back to that one.
4). Are you looking forward to going home?
Of course I am! I can't wait to see my mum and my brother. And of course my best friend Lucy.
