"When do we start?" Maggie smiled, excited. I had finished explaining the plan to Maggie by now. Now the hard part. The only time we could possibly do this is at night, where no one can see us. I'm thinking we could make this happen when the town does the walker fights. Most of the well trained guards are fighting, including Martinez and Merle.

My heart stung at the thought of Merle. Leaving him is the hardest decision I have made in this world. He means alot to me, but I just can't stand being here. I just have to risk never seeing him again because of that monster. I don't blame Merle for staying here. It's much safer than out there. I just wish he'd care more about my safety than his. I know it's a selfish thought, but before we got here I thought he did care about me. Now I just think he needed someone to watch his ass.

I informed Maggie about when we'd put this plan into action. Then made my way out of here. I smiled to myself. Finally. I'll finally be free.

I sat down on the lowest seat at the farthest edge on the bleachers. So I could easily sneak away. I noticed the Governor showing Andrea the walker fights for the first time. He was smiling and talking to everyone like this was a normal and fun fight. He then noticed me and smiled. I turned away and started to pay attention to the "show."

Everyone, except me, cheered as the lights flashed on. Revealing Merle and a man I see guarding the gate all the time surrounded by walkers. I cringed as the walkers reached for Merle. Begging for his flesh.

"I am going to beat him, one handed," Merle stated, holding his stump up. "Oh yeah!" I rolled my eyes at that. Only Merle. Andrea looked around as they brought the walkers out. She yelled at the Governor disgusted by this. So she’s not as stupid as I thought.

I saw this as a perfect opportunity to sneak away. I thanked Andrea in my head for indirectly helping me. I smiled to myself as no one noticed I had snuck away. Once I was out of plain sight, I jogged my way to where Glenn was locked up.

I picked the key up from the hook it was on right next to Glenn's door. "Nice placement, Governor." I mumbled to myself. I unlocked the door and quickly yet quietly shut it behind me. Watching as it shut. Once I turned around, I ran smack into a tan and toned chest, who was obviously not Glenn.

Author's Note: Oooh. Who is it? Also I know The Governor showed Andrea the walker fights before Merle captured Maggie and Glenn. Another thing, this isn't a Merle fanfic. Just keep reading. (; You'll see. Your questions will be answered. So comment predictions and vote! Thanks. ~ Amanda
