Peggy's POV:

I can't believe it. I stared down a the ground and watched as my tears pooled in the dirt. All my life I have been under the protection of Tyler, but now... he could be laying dead in a ditch! I screamed and cried. My world is over. The only person I have ever known was Tyler. But now I am alone.

"Dear child.. don't cry", a young woman said. " Don't hurt me", I cried. "Oh I won't, dear I promise you darling, I wouldn't hurt a fly", she smiled and said. She handed me down and I cried into her shoulder. She carried my for about 2 miles, and we talked the whole time. Her name was Amanda. We talked about Tyler, and my old family. She told me about her family, and how the weren't rebels, but she switched sides by herself. She told me about all the creatures that have came to kill the rebels,  but they never succeeded.

" I live in that tree over there, but , is it ok if you climb up there?" she asked, " It's perfectly safe, I promise", she said. There was a worn out ladder leading up to a tiny hidden house in the tree. We climbed up to the house, but when we opened the door there was nothing but a trapdoor. "Are you ready?" she asked and smiled. " For..what?!" I asked. She opened the trapdoor then slid down a slide. It was crazy! I went down to, but when I saw the most amazing thing.

People were everywhere and there were rooms and rooms everywhere! There was running water, and electricity, it was so cool. They haven't won yet, I thought to myself. If only Tyler was here to see to this. Children played and people were happy. It was as if the war wasn't surrounding us.

"Amanda, who's this?" a man asked. "I'm Peggy, Peggy Reck", I replied. "Welcome Peggy", the man said. People were greeting me and everyone was smiling.

I couldn't help but notice that Amanda was drop dead gorgeous. She had soft brown curls and big brown eyes. Her teeth were straight and her smile was darling. Her laugh was adorable and she had a sweet personality.

"You can stay with me, I live right down the hall", Amanda said with a smile. When I went to bed I didn't even think about Tyler, I was so happy. I was happy because I knew I was going to live. I had faith in this group, and I couldn't stop smiling.

Tyler's POV:

I miss Peggy so much it hurt. She is my life, and my world. She has the most perfect personality, and she reminded me of myself. Also I still haven't told Delaney how I feel. She makes me spark up and I love her, even though I've been here for only a month. Ugh I have too many emotions. And in a time like this? I should be focused on surviving, and nothing else.

I toughened up and went outside to hunt. I've never hunted before in my life I've always just stole from other people that weren't "lower class". I took a spear and walked outside. "Hey Tyler, What's up?" Delaney asked with a grin. "Hunting", I replied. "Do you know how to hunt?" she asked. "Psh..duh  who doesn't?!" I lied. "Oh of course",she teased. I love it when she teased me. "Well let me know if you need help", she said. I hid in the middle of the forest, with a bow and arrow. I have never used one, but, how hard could it be? I waited until I spotted a buck in the trees. I immediately pointed the bow at it and shot. The arrow shot about 10 feet to the left of the buck. I heard giggling from behind me. "Haha very funny, Delaney", I shouted. "That's not how you shoot a bow, silly", she laughed.

Suddenly a we heard a loud roar! " What the hell?" I yelled. "Run!" Delaney screamed.
