- Rosalie's POV -
I don't know what came over me, but I wanted to lean forward and kiss the curly haired boy in front of me. It would have been the perfect moment except for the fact my brother was in the back seat.
"Excuse me, I'm still here you know and I rather not die on my birthday." Mason cleared his throat, staring at the two of us.
Blinking rapidly, I moved my gaze away from Harry's. "Shut up, Mase." I replied, my voice quiet.
"How about you let Harry focus on driving, Rose?" My brother responded, raising an eyebrow at me. God, he was so much like my mum. It was scary.
Turning my gaze out the window, I could feel a small smile coming to my lips. In all my life, I've never experienced what had just happened. Never have I ever felt the need to kiss someone so bad like I did with him. All the way to the bar, it was a quiet with the occasional cough. As the Funky Buddha sign came into view, I straightened myself in my seat and waited for Harry to park. Once the car was completely still, I didn't wait for the two boys as I hopped out.. which was a bad choice. Flashes of light and men yelling at me crowded around me making me drop my head. I hated the paparazzi and I always will. Suddenly, a strong arm wrapped itself around my shoulders and blocked me from the bright lights.
"Don't worry, if you just ignore them, they'll just go away." Harry whispered, smiling at me.
"You must know, after all they're everywhere you go." I spoke, laughing softly.
I turned to look at Mason who was behind us and yelling at the men carrying the cameras. "Can't you assholes find something better to do than harassing the three of us?" My younger brother snapped, sticking his middle finger high up in the air. Mason never did like paparazzi or cameras for that matter, he absolutely hated them. Not once have I ever seen him smile in front of the paps, just frowns or, when he got older, his middle finger.
"Mason, come on." I told my brother, reaching my arm out and pulling him away before he punched one of them.
"God, they're all just pricks." He gritted his teeth, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
"Tell me something I don't know." I laughed, patting my brother on his shoulder.
With Harry's arm still around my shoulder, the three of us found our way inside and to my mates who screamed in delight as soon as they saw us. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROSIE AND MASON!"
A giant smile found its way to my mouth as I ran to them and threw my arms around all of them. "Ah! I can't believe you guys!" I exclaimed, giving each of them bear hugs. "Thank you so much!"
"Course, it's your eighteenth birthday! Gotta make it big for you two." My best friend, Rayleigh, smiled, returning my hug. Rayleigh was amazing, she was one of my closest friends, I had known her since I was little. Even though she was a year older than I was, I could tell her anything, knowing that she would never tell anyone. I loved her, I honestly did. She was like a sister to me, I could go to her for anything and she'd be there ready to listen and to give me advice. She seemed to know the answer to everything, whether it be school, family, or boy problems, she had the answer. Without her, I probably would have never gotten through the many problems I've had in my life. I could never really thank her enough.
"And since you guys are eighteen now, how about a drink?" Mason's friend, Connor, laughed.
"Connor, we just got here." I responded, playfully punching the brunette haired boy. Out of all my brother's friends, he was the least annoying and I actually liked having him around. Since he was my brother's best friend and Ray's boyfriend, he was always around whether I liked it or not. So, I might as well enjoy his company instead of resent it.
