Lucas's PoV
I woke up on the Matthews couch trying to focus my eyes from waking up.
I'm facing the kitchen as my eyes focus fully i see Mrs Matthews cooking breakfast.
I move my glance down to see a sleeping Riley. She looks so adorkable when she's asleep, her hair was all messed up and she was drooling but I loved it !
I I didn't realise I was staring until Mrs Matthews broke me out of my trance.

T:good morning Lucas !(she said cheerily)
L:good morning Mrs Matthews!
T:Lucas I've told you a million times before call me topanga!(she chuckles and smiles)
L:okay topanga (smiles)
T:so how was your sleep?
L:good
T:that's good to hear,would you like some breakfast
L:yes I would please(stares down at Riley smiling)
T:(smirks)can you wake her up please?
L:(looks away from Riley to see topanga smirking,he instantly blushes)huh?..yeah yeah sure?
Riley(he shakes her )riles wake up !
T:she's a deep sleeper (laughs) you should know that by now
L:yeah I know but she just looks so peaceful when she's sleeping like I always wanna know what she's thinking what she's dreaming about in that pretty little head of hers it's always fascinated me why she's always so happy and smiley with that big beautiful smile of hers I can't describe h..........(realises what he's saying looking up to a smirking topanga) ummmm(rubs the back of his neck ) I-i I mean...
T:wanna talk about this Lucas because I've known something's Been going on the past few months since you guys went to Texas and I wasn't there and when ever I bring it up to Riley she just cries...
L:wait she cries!! This isn't good why....why would...... Why ?
T:wanna go talk about it,you can trust me Lucas I'll always be here to talk to and so will Corey we love you all.
L:I've been dying to talk to somebody but nobody will listen to me it's like I'm not involved but I am if you know what I mean ?
T:yeah I know exactly what you mean..so do you want to talk?
L:yes please topanga..bay window,bay window right now.!
T:(chuckles) how long have you wanted to say that.
L:awhile it feels right I. Wish I had a bay window, Riley said it's very body's bay window when they need it..
T:well you need it now so let's go..
L:yeah
*walks into Riley's room and sits at bay window *
T:okay so Lucas what happened in Texas
L:okay well it all started when Riley and Maya entered me into the bull ridding rodeo thinking it was a sheep one but I was really confused because you can't be over 8 years old or over 52 pounds.....
T:Lucas I know all that stuff about you riding the bull and falling off but you actually became the champion and stuff but what happened between you Riley and Maya ?
L:well when we got there Riley and Maya seen what the bull I was riding looked like and they seen how I could've gotten hurt.... Maya started saying stuff like I don't want you anywhere near that bull and I was really confused about why Maya cares all of a sudden and then she said that she'll never speak to me again if I rode that bull but Riley encouraged me to do it and be the hero I am...(Lucas blushes slightly while smiling ) and I rode that bull because Riley was there at the side lines cheering me on I rode that bull for Riley topanga nobody else!!
T:okay well what happened with Maya afterwards...
L:I don't know but I fell of the bull but I wasn't hurt then Riley ran over to me and was nearly crying and that hurt my heart to nearly see her cry... Riley then looked at me weirdly and ran off to be with Maya... I have no clue what they talked about but then they came home to pappy joes house and A-and(starts to tear up)...
T:Lucas what happened?
L:I-i was thanking Riley for being there for me and for everything she had done for me and then she she told me she loved me like a brother she stared going off about how we never made a good couple and how she always wanted me to be there to talk to..
T:how did you feel about that?
L:topanga.....it felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest and then she said she loved and know she knows how then she kissed my cheek and walked away....
T:what happened after that?
L:well i went out and talked with pappy joe and then Maya and Riley came out side and we decided to go to chubbies
T:WAIT CHUBBIES THERES A CHUBBIES IN TEXAS??
L:yeah why are you so excited (laughs)
T:story for another day kid (smiles) continue?
L:well Riley was acting really weird with me she was giving me side hugs and punching my arm and stuff and she even said hahuuuuuuur in my face like Maya be she ended up saying haheeeeeeee or something and it was so adorable and cute the way she said it made my.....(looks at topanga smirking ) I mean..... Well anyway she said that she was just like how me and Maya used to be and that got me real confused.... Anyways at chubbies Riley asked me to dance she was like huckleberry we dancing or what.. And I was asking her are these apart of the new rules can we dance and she was like it's just dancing but I got up straight away i was so excited because I thought that she wouldn't want to be near me anymore ..... While we were dancing she said she always wants me to be around and that made me really happy then we just stared at each other for a bit until Maya came up and started dancing with us...Maya was giving me and Riley weird glances like jealousy glances and I was utterly confused....we went back to the house and Riley wanted us to spend a bit more time together all of us outside by a campfire it was really great until Riley asked Farkle did he want to get some iccream cause zay just left with Vanessa to get ice cream and o was stirring with jealousy then Riley came over to me and said Maya likes you she's been hiding it all this time ... I was shocked because I NEVER looked at Maya that way and still haven't topanga...I asked Riley what about us what are we and she said I told you what we are and I said what if I don't see us that way and she said I would have to get used to us being that way I could tell she was about to cry then she walked away leaving me and Maya in akward silence I asked her did she like me and she denies it at first then goes on a ramble about how she doesn't like me and then she goes hahuuuuur in my face because I kept telling her stop o just grab her face to mine real close to see if anything was there and I didn't even feel a little spark nothing,she was trying to lean in but I just kept her head on my hand holding her head there trying to say something ... I let go of her head and she asked me why I did that and I said I dunno I just wanted you to stop!!...she then admitted that she liked me and we sat in akward silence until I went back into the house thinking that I feel like Riley is doing this for Maya but I wasn't to sure but if going out with Maya will make Riley happy then so be it ....
T:wow Lucas....so what happened after that...
L;well we came home and things were really awkward...i came into school only to see Riley and Maya... I said hi to Riley because I wanted to play our game..
T:wait what game
L:(smirks ) well Riley and I have this game where I say hi and she says hi then o say hey and she says hi and then hey and hi until some body interrupts
T:awwwww that's cute
L:yeah haha well I said hi to Riley but then Maya says hi and I was confused so I just said hey again and before Maya could say anything Riley said hi and smiles I just said wow and walked into Mr Matthews class
Class was starting and somebody passed Riley a note I turned around and saw Charlie Gardner I knew he gave her a note he just glared at me with a smirk
Mr Matthews then asked Riley what was in the note she tried to hide it but then Maya bursts out that something happened between me and her and o was fuming because I seen the hurt in Riley's eyes I just said oh no under my breath then all of a sudden Riley smiled and turned around and said yes Charlie I will go out with you ...my heart snapped in to a million pieces and it was all Maya's fault.!
T:how are you and Maya know like what happened
L:nothing happened we went on a couple of dates I never told her I liked her back or even kissed or held her hand  she poured smoothie on my head when I tried to tell her the same story I told Riley when we first connected in the library (smiles at the memory ) she doesn't like my stories..but Riley does and I like hers me and Maya haven't connected but she still make out that we are together even though I barley see her because I'm always with..
T:Riley?
L:(chuckles) yeah I had to become her best friend because if I hadn't we'd never see each other and I'd fall apart..she's my sunshine my princess and I can't live with out her....topanga what do I do ?
T:Lucas ...do you like Maya romantically?
L:NO I love her like a sister I really do I always thought it was me and Maya who had the whole brother thing going on I have never felt anything romantic for Maya...
T:what about Riley ?
L:Riley.......Riley she makes my day better you know she's my sunshine and I I love her.....:not like a sister topanga what should I do.... Riley loves me like a brother and I don't know how to end things with Maya because she seems like she really likes me and I don't want to keep leading her on??
T:tell Maya the truth... I always thought Maya loved josh I never seen her look at you the way she looks at josh....
L:yeah,well thank you topanga that felt good getting it all out....do you think Riley loves me like a brother ?
T:no Lucas I don't....I've seen the way she looks at auggie and I've seen the way she looks at you its not the same (smiles)
L:thanks (hugs topanga ) for listening to me
T:no problem Lucas now let's go have breakfast and wake up Riley and I promise I won't Mention this to here (smiles) until your ready
L:thank you topanga now LETS GO EAT !!
T:(laughs) your spending WAYYY to munch time with Riley
L:I don't mind (smiles all goofy)
