A/N: That is the hotel room they will be staying in shortly.

Running through the halls I barely had time to study my surroundings. Giovanni was pretty adamant about getting out of here. He gave me no choice but to try and match his pace. Which might I add was extremely fast. He gave Duke a run for his money

"The faster we get out the better. I promised to protect you, so please refrain from asking any questions until I can get you to safety. Okay?" he asks.

I nod my head and murmur a meek yes.

He laced his fingers through mine as he rushed down the endless seems of hallways. It is almost like a maze of sorts. Strange. Shaking the eerie feeling off  I focused on what was happening. Why was I leaving so soon? What happened that caused Giovanni to be in a state of alarm? Had something happened to my father? Where was he at this time? Was he okay? Are we going to be okay?

Question after question, I try to rake through them. My mind is in a rapid flood, and it was beginning to take a toll on me. I just could not stop them from coming. It was making me more fearful of the situation at hand, and the beginnings of a headache were appearing. I have no idea what is happening. All that I can do is listen to Giovanni, and hopefully he can explain all of this to me later. I'd hate to upset the first person I meet, so I will keep my questions to myself.

Looking forward I see a set of stairs leading to a metal door. Reaching the door he pushes it open quickly, and like a slap the wind hit me. It made my hair fly in different direction, but I couldn't help but love the feeling. Fresh air, finally we meet.

With quick feet we head down a narrow strip of ground. The building seemed to be fairly close to one another. As we reached the end there sat a black SUV. Giovanni opened the door and urged me to settle in quickly. Taking a seat I ran my fingers across Aspin's baby belly. She purred at the attention I was paying her. Taking my eyes off of her I watched as Giovanni threw the stuff in the back.

"Hey! Be careful with Duke!" I scolded.

"Mi dispiace amore," he apologizes.

After he rounded the vehicle and took his seat, slamming the door shut behind him. "Andiamo!"

The driver I hadn't notice slammed on the gas, sending the car flying through the streets. I held Aspin close to me afraid that she would go flying off my lap if I didn't. Looking out of the window I notice that it is dark outside, indicating that night has fallen. Not many cars were driving around, it seemed only a few were out and about. There were even some people walking on the sidewalks. Only one or two, but I've only ever seen two people throughout my entire life.

For about thirty minutes I watch as many stores blur then cars as we slipped onto a highway. I didn't dare speak a word. I wasn't exactly sure if talking might make things worse, but I might as well take my chances. What do I have to lose

"What can I call you by? Your name is pretty long, not that it isn't a beautiful name. I mean it is quite the beautiful name. Sorry, do men even like being complimented, none the less being called beautiful? You are very beaut-" I was cut off by his failure of an attempt to hold in his bubbling laughter. I'm highly grateful though. I am one hundred percent sure that I was embarrassing myself. What do I say? I have never talked to people! Give me a break!
