"C'mon children! Get with your partners." Girls and boys ran into the studio. Now, this is no ordinary dance studio. This studio is for the orphan kids or kids whose parents cannot afford actual dance lessons. It's nonprofit. Also, the instructors are parents or volunteers from around town, and each of them is completely fine with who the kids are. Gay, lesbian, believers of God or not.
"Roll call! Let's see...Nami and Ussop?" "Here!" "Franky and Robin?" "Suuperr!" "Here, Ms." Naming off the rest of the children, the instructor came to the last pair. "Kuina and Zoro?" "We're here, teach!" "Alright! I hope you all have been practicing. Let's get dancing!" Ms. Rouge moved over to the music box and hit play.
It was like magic. All the kids moved in sync, they never broke the beat. The twirls were on time as well as their dips. Ms. Rouge and the others were very pleased at the sight of their hard work. As the song faded out, the kids turned to their instructors and each had big smiles on their faces. The teachers looked at the kids and happily said, "All of you did amazing! By next week, we should be able to preform for the town!" The children's eyes lit up, they all jumped about saying that the town people will be blown away.
A small bell was rung, indicating that the children can do whatever they wanted for 30 minutes. Food was short, so whatever the kids had they'd share with one another. "It's really amazing how these kids know what situation they're in and try to help out as much as possible." "Yes...as well as how much effort they put into the dance." "I think some are in love, no?" The teachers laughed and looked to the kids. Guess you could say some are in love. Another ring of the bell and class was resumed.
*two days later*
"Class, today we have a new comer! His name is Sanji. Now, let's see who doesn't have a partner..." Zoro raised up his hand, "I don't have one.." Ms. Rouge looked puzzled. "But I thought you were with-" "Kuina's dead." Everyone in the room looked at Zoro. Silence fell and their heads. Sanji looked up at Ms. Rouge and pulled on her dress. "Yes?" "Is he going to be my partner?" Ms. Rouge looked to Zoro then back at Sanji. "Yes. Go over to him and...get along." Sanji nodded his head and walked over to Zoro.
"Hello...I'm Sanji." "...Zoro." The two boys stood awkwardly. But it's expected, what do you do when you just came to a new place and found out your new dance partner's partner died? Ms. Rouge came up to the boys and bent down, "Zoro, you can sit out today if you want to." "No!...I made a promise..I'll dance today until the performance." Ms. Rouge understood and looked to Sanji, "Well, Sanji doesn't know the dance, you can step out and help him practice, please?" Nodding his head, he took Sanji's hand and took him out to the back of the dance studio.
"Uh..sorry." "For what?" "Your partner...I feel guilty taking her spot." "No big deal." "But I-" "Let it go. You have to learn the dance. The performance is next week." Placing his hands on Sanji's waist, he instructed him to put his hands on his shoulders. "Okay, now watch my feet." "Right!" ...."OUCH!" "Damn it!" Getting back up, the boys dust themselves up. "You're not stepping right." "Well, sorry!" "Look, just follow my lead, okay?" Sanji sighs and nods. Placing their hands on each other, Zoro starts to move, Sanji trying his best to keep in time.

"Children! Time to go!" Zoro looks at the building from his spot on a bench. "You did well, today." Sanji whipped his head around at the compliment, his cheeks turning red. "Oi, you alright? Your cheeks are flushed." "I'm fine, moss head!" "What'd you call me?!" Standing up, their foreheads touching. "You heard me!" "Grrr..." "Grrr..."
A chuckle made them part, "C'mon boys. So, how's he, Zoro?" "I guess in two days he'll master the dance." "Ahh, and you Sanji? What do you think of Zoro, he a good teacher?" Sanji crosses his arms and turns the other with a pout, "...I guess he's alright.." Ms. Rouge laughs again, "Well it's time to go back to the orphanage. I'll take you two." Grabbing both the boys hands in each of her own, they walk together to the orphanage.
*performance day*
"Is everyone in their place?" "Yes!!" "Surrrperr!" "Okay, when the music starts you all know what to do!" Ms. Rouge walked to the front and motioned for everyone to settle down. "Welcome everyone! Thank you for coming out today to watch the kids preform an art that they worked so hard on. The name of song is "Sakura Watlz". Sit and enjoy."
Ms. Rouge walked over to the music box and hit play. Music flowed out and all the kids started to move. Each of them in time with their partner and everyone around them. The twirls were perfect and the dips were magical! The switching of partners was amazing. Then, to finish of the song, two boys showed up, center stage.
"You ready..?" "Mm!" Parting their ways, Zoro faced Sanji, 3 feet away. Running, Sanji leaped into Zoro's hands, Zoro lifting Sanji as the last note finishes. Applauds roared up and Sanji was placed on his feet. "They liked it!" "The crowd is standing!" Ms. Rouge went in front of the children and thanked the crowd, one by one separating people started to leave.
"You all were splendid!!" One of the instructors clapped her hands. All the children hugged their friends and partners. "C'mon. We're going to the park for a picnic! You've all worked very hard for it!" Cheering, the kids ran to the public park. Sanji and Zoro walked behind the rest, a comfortable silence shared. "You did great." "You too!" Small blushes reined over their cheeks. Walking over to one of the benches, they sat together watching the other kids play. "Zoro, Sanji? Don't you want to play?" They shake their heads and smile, "No thanks." "Alright then. Here's some sandwiches." Ms. Rouge handed both boys a sandwich and left them to their own devices. "I'm gonna be a master chef one day." "Is that your dream?" "Yeah, it always has been. What do you wanna be?" "Hmm...well I'm not sure..I wanna be a swordsman..." "Well, I wish you luck on accomplishing your dream." "You too."

Through the rest of the years, Zoro trained and Sanji worked to become what they wanted. They grew, and soon they'd be leaving the orphanage to start their own lives.
"Are you really leaving the town?" "Yes, Ms. Rouge." "You two have really grown up into men haven't you?" The boys shrugged and chuckled. "Well before you go, say goodbye to everyone first." "Ms. Rouge-" "Ah! No excuses. You have to say goodbye to everyone." "Everyone?" "Everyone." Sighing the boys- I mean, men go into the dance studio and see all their friends.
"Ahem! Children!" "We're not children anymore!" "Hush! Now, Sanji and Zoro are leaving to start their lives somewhere else." "What!! Zoro and Sanji are leaving?! But Sanji's food is the best!" "And Zoro's fun to mess with!" "Oi!" "Settle down, settle down. They've come to say goodbye to everyone." Ms. Rouge motioned the boys forward to say their farewells. "Well, there isn't much to say now. But don't worry guys-" "If it's destined to be, our paths will cross again."
So, as they left, their friends waved them off. Zoro and Sanji waved back, then walked on to the airport. Over the years they'd acquired jobs and worked hard to earn enough money for them to buy two tickets for America.
Zoro and Sanji tagged their luggage and watched as they were taken away to their assigned plane. The wait wasn't long until they heard their plane was now boarding. Sitting next to each other, Zoro instantly fell asleep. As the plane took off, Sanji looked out the window and watched as the ground became smaller. Switching his focus onto Zoro, he pulled out a blanket from Zoro's carry-on and placed it on him.
~~~~
Half way through the flight, Zoro opened up his eyes to find Sanji asleep and stars outside. He noticed the blanket on him and looked back at Sanji. The seats of the plane were not exactly divided with arm rests, so Zoro moved the blanket to were it was covering him and Sanji. He pulled the blonde closer to his chest and looked out his window once more before falling back asleep.
Imma make a part 2 about their lives in America don worry
