Avery's POV:
"Aves are you sure you're gonna be okay driving? Maybe you should just take a nap in your car for a little while," Hunter says, concerned. It's 1:30 in the morning and I'm about to drive back to Grenada and I told Hunter I'd be fine driving and he didn't have to wait up on me. "Aves?" He asks, waiting for me to answer.
"Yes I'll be fine."
"Okay. Text me as soon as you get home. But don't text and drive."
"Okay. I promise I will."
"Pinky swear?" He asks, seriously.
"Pinky swear," I say with a smile.
I get to my car and drive to the interstate and decide to stop in Batesville for some coffee. It's 2:30 by now and there are people swerving and barely missing other cars. I see a bright flash of headlights and a horn honking. I blackout.
