Natsu Dragneel x Gray Fullbuster (Highschool AU): Differences

Heyo!! This is another request, requested by StormsSecret (Sorry if I spelled that incorrectly, I was too lazy to go back and check 0.0) I don't really ship this nor have I ever written yaoi so this might be really bad :P Sorry in advance if it is... Also the AU was my idea, sorry if you don't like it.

East Magnolia High. A private school, with huge, whitewashed walls surrounding the premises and a school building that looked like a modern castle. Hundreds of students attended the prestigious school, and it was complete with clubs, several sports teams, teachers who knew what they were doing, and a cafeteria fit for a king. But that isn't what we're focusing on today... Today, we are zeroing in on one student. A certain, fiery student with a short temper and hair you won't soon forget. The one and only, Natsu Dragneel. Player for the school's soccer team, well known among his schoolmates, and one of the most oblivious people one will ever meet.

The morning had started out simple enough. Natsu had woken up, brushed his teeth, and tugged on his school uniform which consisted of black pants and shoes, as well as a black jacked over a crisp, white shirt. His uniform was wrinkled as always, and somehow his socks were fraying slightly again, even though he'd recently bought this pair. He'd eaten breakfast and waved goodbye to his dad, then left for school.

Upon arriving at school, Natsu had immediately run to class, so as not to be late again. Detention was a bitch, especially from Mr. Happy, who for some reason always made you prepare fish for him if you were to get detention. Natsu knew from experience that preparing fish was not fun. You'd always go home smelling like fish and that was hard to wash off.

Natsu had spent most of his morning fooling around, and by the time lunch came around, he'd been starving! So he dashed to the cafeteria as soon as the bell rang. The cafeteria at East Magnolia High was huge, with windows near the ceiling allowing lots of natural light and clean tile flooring across the whole room. Each table in the cafeteria was solid oak, sanded to perfection and painted white. That was where it began. Where Natsu's day was flipped totally around and he discovered something very new about himself.

"Natsu!" Yelled Lucy from a few tables away.

"Yo, Luce!"

"Natsu come and eat with us!"

Natsu grinned and jogged over to the table where Lucy was seated, not noticing that he had dropped his wallet.

After sitting down, Natsu felt an absence in his pocket. He began frantically searching for it when he heard an amused voice from a few feet away.

"Looking for this?" Erza said, raising the wallet to let him see.

"Erza! My wallet!"

Just then, a girl with stark white hair and bright eyes came up behind Erza and snatched the wallet from her hands, opening it to see what was inside.

"Lisanna! Give it back!" He said, lunging for the girl. She was too fast for him though, and giggled as she ran around the tables, looking at the stuff in Natsu's wallet.

"Oooh! Who is this!!!"

"Nobody now give me my wallet, Lis!"

Lisanna grinned, showing the little treasure she had found to everyone. It was a picture. Of a boy, slightly taller than Natsu, with dark hair and eyes. He looked older, and his arm was draped around Natsu's shoulders as the both grinned at the camera.

One of the bluenettes, Juvia, suddenly gasped. "C-could this be what they say?.... B-boy's love!!"

Juvia was blushing madly and Lucy smirked at him. Lisanna smiled innocently and Erza just gasped along with Juvia.

"Gross! Don't be stupid! That's my brother you weirdos!"

"Oh." They said in unison, sounding a little disappointed.

"Ew.." Natsu said as he finally managed to snatch his wallet from Lisanna. Then they all sat down and began their lunch. A few minutes later, a new voice arrived.

"What's up losers?"

"Oh, hey Gray." Said Natsu.

"Gray, you're late again." Said Erza, taking on a dark air.

Gray cringed. "Don't hurt me!"

Erza didn't answer, going back to her food.

Soon, Gajeel and Levy approached the lunch table, holding hands. Gajeel was blushing lightly and Levy just looked happy.

"Hi Gajeel. Levy." Said Erza.

"Hey why don't you threaten Gajeel and Levy like you do me!" Exclaimed Gray.

"Because they're clearly dating behind our backs and I don't want them to be scared to tell us, obviously!"

Levy and Gajeel blushed madly.

"Oh we all knew it, you're obvious as hell metal head."

"What did you call me!!"

"SIT DOWN."

That shut them up. But soon enough, Natsu got in a fight with Gray.

"Wanna take this outside, Elsa!"

"Who you callin' Elsa, flame brain!"

And the two promptly dashed outside, arguing like children the whole way.

And this was when it happened. Gray had thrown the first punch, hitting Natsu in the jaw. Natsu hit Gray just under the eye. And this continued. Right up until Natsu slipped. His hand was pulled back to throw a punch, when he slipped on a small mud puddle.

He landed on top of Gray with and grunt of surprise, and was about to yell again when he noticed Gray smirking. Natsu's lips were touching Gray's. Gray grinned coolly and moved his lips against Natsu's, challenging him to kiss back. Natsu blushed furiously, but took on the challenge and kissed him.

It was almost the end of the school day, and Natsu was still red faced from what had happened. He'd kissed a boy! And not just any boy, Gray! Gray was a stupid, girly, asshole. Yet now, whenever Natsu thought of him, his heart raced and his face flushed. Natsu reached his locker to get his stuff and go home. He groaned audibly and slammed his forehead against the metal door. Just as he did, he felt a tap on his shoulder.

Lucy grinned, holding up her phone as if to show him something. It was a picture, of Natsu, sprawled awkwardly on top of Gray, kissing him. In the picture, Natsu's face was bright red and his eyes were shut tightly whilst Gray was calm and collected, pulling Natsu a little bit closer by his shoulders.

"Lucy!!" Natsu said, blushing.

She giggled and ran off. Natsu pursued her, but was unable to reach her before she found Gray and showed him. Gray looked at Natsu from about twenty feet away, where he was standing, and winked, causing a furious blush and an angry look to spread across his features.
