Chapter 1

"Danielle wake up," my mom said as she shook me awake.
"I don't wanna get up," I groaned into my pillow.
"Come on its your first day of school!" My mom squealed.
"It's not like it's my first day of high school mom, calm down," I said while getting up. I walked to my bathroom to splash some cold water on my face to wake me up a bit. "Just 1 more year till you're out of this hellhole," I thought while looking at myself in the mirror. I got my toothbrush and put some toothpaste on it and started brushing my teeth, when I was finished I rinsed my mouth out with water then swished my mouth with some mouthwash because who would want to go to school with stinky breath? I walked to my closet trying to find an outfit for today, after searching for what seemed like hours I finally decided on some black lace shorts, a red flower top and my new white converses which I was really hoping wouldn't get dirty on the first day of school.

"Danielle Marie Rodgers you better hurry up and not be late on your first day of school!" My dad yelled.
"Coming!!" I said as I rushed down the stairs. I grabbed my backpack and an apple and went to go hug my parents before walking to my car. I went to open the door but it was locked, "crap I forgot the keys," I mumbled while walking back to the door. When I got to the door it swung open with my keys dangling from my dads fingers,"forget something?" He asked. "Thanks daddy," I said while hugging him then walking to the car. I put my backpack in the back then got into the drivers seat and pulled out and started on my way to school. I was getting a little hungry since I didn't have any breakfast so I grabbed the apple I got from the house and ate it while on my way. I had devoured the apple within 2 minutes,"man I was hungry," I thought to myself. While driving I saw a McDonalds up ahead and decided to stop for a sausage mcmuffin. I honestly don't like McDonald's but I was beyond hungry and was desperate for anything. After getting some breakfast I arrived at school a few minutes after. I drove around looking for a parking spot then I finally found one. I sat in my car eating my breakfast before going in. Now before I go in let me introduce myself.
