Chapter 4

I rung the door bell when we got to Lea's house.
"Hey Al," she said to Alex with a big smile on her face.
"Sorry Lea only Danny can call me that. It's a best friend thing," he told her,"right Danny?" He asked me.
"Right," I smiled.
"Oh okay then. Well hey Alex," she said with a smile but I could notice a hint of pain her voice.
Well okay then. "So where are the others?" I asked her.
"Oh they're not here yet," she told me. "So do you guys want anything to eat?" She asked us.
"No thanks I'm full," I said politely.
"I'm way to full from that banana split Danny made me eat," he said while burping right after.
"Babe that was disgusting," Lea said and smacked his shoulder while I busted out laughing.

We all watched tv while waiting for the others to come.

10 minutes later

All the girls have arrived except for Ashley. "Hey where's Ash?" I asked the girls. "I don't know ," they said. Well that defiantly helped. I decided to just text her.
(D- Danielle, A- Ashley)
D- Hey girly. Where are you?
A- I'm about 5 minutes away. I had to stay after the bell for a little bit to ask my teacher about some stuff
D- Alright see you when you get here:)
A- See you in a bit:)

5 minutes later

*knock knock*
"I'll go get it. It's probably Ash," I said while getting up to go open the door.
"Hey ladies," Ashley said while we walked into the living room with the others.
"Well ladies and gentleman," I corrected her.
"True," she laughed
"So how was y'all's first day back to school?" I asked the girls and well Alex.
"Fine," everyone said but Alex kept quiet.
"Al how was your first day of school in Texas?" I asked him.
"Yeah, how was it?" Lea asked him.
"It was actually really good. The people here are a lot nice than they are back in LA, and Danielle actually made it whole lot better," he said with a big smile.
"Oh really, and how is that she make it better babe?" Lea asked with smile on her face with a very noticeable hint of jealousy in her voice.
"Well she was very nice to me and brought me to Baskin Robins, and also made me try a very delicious might I add banana split."
"Oh well that's cool," she said bluntly, "but I showered you with kisses and love," she said with a wide smile spread across her face.
"Yeah that's cool to I guess," he said while awkwardness filling the air.
"Soooo anything else happen to anyone," I said trying to get rid of the awkwardness in the room.
"Actually lets talk about your day Danielle," Ash said with a smirk on her face.
"What about my day?"
"Don't act like you don't know."
"I seriously don't know what you're talking about," I laughed.
"So you're telling me that you didn't notice that boy staring at you in Spanish class?" She asked raising one eyebrow.
"The blonde boy? I think Noah's his name."
"Yeah him exactly."
"Yeah I noticed but I didn't think anything of it."
"Oh. We'll have you talked to him?"
"I saw him at the vending machines earlier and we talked a little bit, he seems like a cool guy."
"Isn't he a senior?" She smirked.
"Ohhhhhhhhhh!!! Get some Danielle!" Everyone yelled.
"Whatever," I laughed," it's not like anything is gonna happen between us anyway."
"Sureeeee, whatever you say Jose," Ashley laughed.

"Can we just watch a movie or something?" I asked trying to steer the attention away from me which thankfully worked.

After looking through what felt like thousands of movies we finally decided on Ride Along (if you don't know what this movie is then you're missing out on life). When the finished we all talked and laughed about the funny parts.

I looked at the window and saw that it was getting dark outside. "Hey what time is it?" I asked.
"Ummm it's 8:30," Ash said while looking at her phone.
"Alright it's getting late, I'm gonna head out," I told the girls. "You need a ride Alex?"
"Yeah thanks," he said.
"No it's fine, I'll drop him off," Lea said.
"Oh alri-," Alex cut me off.
"No it's fine babe I'll ride with Danielle," he told her and kissed her forehead. "Bye you guys, it was nice meeting all of you, and bye babe I'll see you tomorrow."
"Bye nice meeting you to Alex," the girls said.
"Yeah bye," Lea said bluntly.

"Shall we go Danny?" Alex said and held out his arm.
"We shall Al," I laughed and linked arms with his. "Bye ladies!" I yelled while we skipped out the door.

While we in the car I let Alex control the aux cord and to my surprise we played Fergalicious.
"Omg are you really playing this?" I laughed while he belted out the lyrics. I'm not gonna lie, I truly love this song.

"All the time I turn around brother's gather round always looking at me up and down looking at my uh
I just wanna say it now - I ain't trying to round up drama, little mama I don't wanna take your man.
And I know I'm coming off just a little bit conceited and I keep on repeating how the boys wanna eat it.
But I'm tryin' to tell, that I can't be treated like clientele
'Cause they say she delicious" I rapped my favorite lyrics.

"What. The. Hell." He looked surprised. "Dang my best friend can rap," he laughed.

"Not at all, but I couldn't help but rap my favorite part," I laughed.

About 10 minutes later we reached his house. "Alright I'll see you tomorrow," I said while he got out the car.
"Alright bye," he said while walking to his front door. When I was about to drive off I saw him jogging back to the car. "Wait I need my my best friends number," he said with a cheesy smile.
"Give me your phone," I said. He handed me his phone and I added my number to his contacts and gave him back his phone.
"Thanks I'll text you in the morning."
"Alright," I smiled. "Goodnight."
"Night," he yelled before going into his house.

Lol ok but on a serious note I think I'm gonna start updating twice a week. Maybe every Wednesday and Friday or every Wednesday and Saturday :)

But if it doesn't work out then oh well... but I promise there will be a new chapter every Friday or Saturday.
