Between A roc and a Hard Place.

The Love

As the weeks went by, Roc had been proving himself to Hope more and more each day. He was serious. He was done with the games and the age of 17 he was ready to settle down.

"What you doing up so early?" Keisha asked Roc Royal as she walked into the kitchen rubbing her eyes.

"Making breakfast for Hope." He smiled.

"She got you cooking!? At 7am?" Keisha was shocked. "I can't even get you up at 10 for Promo. What has she done to my Roccy?"

"Nothing Keisha I just wanted to do something special for her." He shrugged.

"You must really love this girl." Keisha said stealing a piece of bacon.

"Why cause I'm cooking?" Roc laughed. "And stop stealing her food!"

"See!" Keisha said. "It's just the way you react towards her. Most girls you would have let go by now with all the things y'all been through."

"I really do love her kee." Roc smiled.

"I know. I've never seen you more happy." She playfully pushed him. "Don't fuck up." She said and ran after she stole another piece of bacon. Roc picked up the tray and brought it upstairs.

"Wake up pooch." He said as he lightly shook her.

"What no false alarms today." She laughed. "OMG we got robbed!?"

"No. I know how to wake you up now." He smiled. "But that was pretty funny."

"No it wasn't I actually believed my house was on fire." She pushed him.

"I don't know why!" He laughed. "If yo house was on fire I wouldn't have been in there. One of us gotta live to tell the story." Hope gave him a mean look and he burst out laughing. "I'm kidding babe. I'd give my life up for you. And my food now eat this for it gets cold."

"You made me breakfast!?" Hope smiled. "What you want?" She said turning serious.

"What? A guy can't make breakfast for his girl without wanting something in return?" He laughed.

"No I know you. What do you want?" She crossed her arms.

"Want you to start wearing your rings again." He said.

"Roc we already discussed this." She sat the tray to the side. "I can't right now."

"Why not? I've been doing all I can to earn your trust back." He whined.

"I know and it's working but I just need some time to get us back where we were." She kissed his cheek. "You understand right?"

"Oh yeah." He brushed it off. "Just don't make me wait to long and miss out on all this." He smiled as he took shirt off and headed to the bathroom.
