Run Down

(2 weeks later)

"I just don't wanna do it no more B." Bahja cried. "He's gone too far with this plan. I'm NOT a murderer!"

"I know. Just tell him you're out." Baby doll consoled her.

"I can't. He'll come for me next." She wiped her nose with her sleeve. "I'm in too deep."

"Let Hope know what's going on an-"

"Are you crazy!" Bahja jumped up cutting Nique off. "Are you trying to get me killed!?"

"Just listen to her." Baby doll said.

"You have to pretend to still be down with the plan but tell Hope everything that's gonna go down so she can be ready." Nique finished. "She can get him before he gets her. Bahja nodded her head in agreement. She really wanted to make things right, but after she saved a life.

Everything had been going well with Roc and Hope. She woke up early in the morning and got dressed to go jog.

"Babe where you going?" Roc asked rolling over in the bed. "It's 6:00."

"I'm going out for my run." She said as she tied her shoes. "I haven't gone in so long and I'm getting fat."

"No you're not." He got up and kissed her while holding her hand. He looked down at her ring and smiled. She had finally accepted his ring back. "I love you."

"I love you too now go back to bed." She kissed him once more and then walked out the door.

"Hey sis where you going?" Prodigy said as Hope walked down the stairs.

"Out for a run." Smiled as she hooked her phone clip to her side and stretched her legs.

"You do look a little bigger." He laughed. "Exercise might do you some good."

"Forget you." She rolled her eyes and kept stretching.

"I'm just saying. You eat like a man!" Hope mushed his forehead then walked to the door. "Be careful. If you see any girls with rainbow hair run the other way. That's team OMG!" He joked. Hope was already gone. She jogged down the street until she got by the park she usually ran in. She stopped and bent down to tie her shoe.

"Hope Carter." She heard a voice say as she stood up. She turned around and peered into a pair of eyes she never thought she'd see again. "Surprise." He smiled. Hope started to back away quickly. She tripped over a tree branch and blacked out.
