Unfinished because IDGAFOS
I walked onto the plain, the sun at its highest. I began walking to the west, when a wild boar started charging to me. I took out my sword, and stood, waiting for it to run to me. When it came close enough to me, I jumped behind it, and slashed at it from behind. I thought it was enough, but it came charging back to me after. I knew I could t try the same thing, since despite how they look, they're smart enough to know I might try the thing that worked before a second time. Or maybe they aren't.
As it came dashing towards me, I moved out of the way, causing it to hit a tree I was in front of. I quickly attacked it multiple times before it could turn around. I defeated my first real monster, I felt pretty cool. I continued walking to Tamana Village.***
It was getting close to sundown. I could see the tall buildings of Midnight City in the distance. The brightly lit city looked lively even nearing the end of the day.
After walking for a few more minutes, I made it to the village. It was small, but looked really pretty. The trees and other plants were a very verdant colour, and the village smelled like flowers.
It was twilight at this point, so I had to find somewhere to sleep. I looked around the small town and found a traditional looking inn.
The wooden inside looked well made. I walked to the reception counter and asked the receptionist to stay for the night.
"That would be 3500 Tsuka," the woman said. I looked into my bag, but I only packed 1500 Tsuka. I began to worry, and started looking on the floor for dropped change.
A young woman walked to the desk while I was looking under one of the lobby pillows. I looked up and saw that she had long, deep blue hair. She smiled at me and payed the rest of the difference for me.
"Um, thank you, ma'am," I shook the woman's hand to be respectful.
"So you're Hikaru," she said. She glared at me. "And I'm a miss, not a ma'am, no matter how you look at it."
"How do you know who I am?" I asked her.
"My uncle, Thanmos told me an hour ago about a kid with light blonde hair and tan skin," she explained. "But I never thought you would look like this," She sounded a little sarcastic to me.
"Thanmos is your uncle?" I asked. "My aunt married him.
"Why don't you go to your room now?" She pointed to where my room was. I nodded and thanked her again.
I walked down the hall to the fourth slide door and walked in. I undressed and walked to sit in the bath. I closed my eyes and thought about everything that happened today.
I was given the task of finding legendary weapons, all within 80 days.
I sighed. The warm water was relaxing. It made me feel calm, and that the world was, too.
I changed into a t-shirt and hopped into bed. Tomorrow I would start my journey to find the four swords.***
I got out of bed and made myself a bowl of rice from what was in the room. I sat down on the other bed in the room an began eating it.
Out of no where, I felt the bed move under me.
"...Good morning," I saw that I was sitting on the girl from last night. "How's it going, Hikaru?"
"Why are you in my room?" I asked her, startled.
"What do you mean?" She still sounded tired. Her hair is really messy now that I noticed. "This is my room."
